Perfect Plug n Play for 2014 FJ Cruiser
Look awesome and once you figure out what to do it’s a pretty easy plug n play install, but for three hundred bucks you’d think they’d provide some decent instructions. Makes things a lot easier on yourself if you remove the entire lower side panel. Take the rubber flooring up first as there’s two screws under the flooring that hold the side panels down. You need to remove and reuse the entire wire harness from the old tail lights including the bulb sockets. The new connectors plug into the bulb sockets of the existing harness. There’s a right way and a wrong way to plug the connectors in. How to know which is the right way is beyond me, but you have a 50/50 chance of getting it right the first time. If you plug them in and they don’t work, disconnect and turn them around and plug them back in and they will work.

Most favorite upgrade so far
The media could not be loaded. Product itself is great. They are plug and play but a little difficult to install because of FJ's design. Totally worth it though!

Great lights. Wiring diagram incorrect
The lights look great. The wiring diagram and connectors are incorrectly placed for American models. On the diagram provided, what is described as the brake light is actually the wire to the turn signal and vice versa. The other wires are correct. With a lot of diagnostic testing and few new splices, I was able to get them working properly. Also the connectors provided do not fit the correct harness to make the lights work properly. Just forewarning for anyone who is going to buy them, you will have to put in a little extra work.

Great product
Great upgrade compared to oem. Leds are bright and install was fairly easy. I was finished in an hour.

NOT Plug and Play but ALMOST
This is ALMOST plug and play. There are three connections that have to be made.1. Turn Signal2. Reverse light3. Rear main light/brake lightThe set that I received had adaptors for #2 and #3 that were simple plug and play adaptors. The turn signal however only had a bare red wire dangling from the housing. After the 45 minute process of removing my subwoofer and trim panels to get access to the housings for removal I wasn't going to be denied in getting the install done. I used some intelligent thought to splice the bare red wire into the existing turn signal wire and VOILA! I was good to go.I made sure to test everything before I put it all back together and found that I had to rotate one of the reverse light adaptors so it would connect correctly. All in all I am PLEASED with the outcome, but the manufacturer did a HORRIBLE job of making it plug and play, which is ashamed because it was VERY CLOSE to being plug and play, just one more adaptor that needed to be included. Luckily for me the splice was simple (because I've done it before and had the tools needed). I could see how a complete novice to this type of work would be extremely frustrated with this assembly.
