My best friend having the weird habit of snuff chewing from his grand father. It makes him suffering with GERD. He uses max 6 pouches of snuff per day. Coz it does really works. Clean the area before apply coz sometimes it didn't stick well. Apply it in less hair area. At day 1st he said its itching and having weird dreams. No feeling of nausea or headaches no migraines till now. I googled how much nicotine does 1 snuff pouch have, its 12 mg then 12*6 = 72 mg/ (which is equal to 80 cigarettes) he intakes everyday that's y he still using 2 pouches. But I don't know about cigarettes, I never smoked. Day by day he is gaining control over his cravings which doesn't make him lose his temper as before. Yes, it is costly. But health comes as first priority. Don't apply it on the same place daily. When started itching it means begins to work. Itching will diminish slowly. No allergic reaction. To Long time tobacco addicters, this is the best option for quitting. No side effects till now. Unlike gum which giving jaw pain, it is painless. It is small in size but its working as miracle for those who want to quit. At first I too thought how it's possible but after watched him keenly, this product deserves heavy advertisement to make aware for needy peoples and should be available in all medical pharmacies. It is the best option for quit the smoking /chew tobacco habit in this 14mg session coz when u go to 7mg there u feel what really craving is. I really doubt sometimes "is there really nicotine present in the 7mg patches?" I don't want to demotivate anyone at the same time I really had to tell what I felt that might be very useful for someone like me. But I have to stick it coz I have ordered 2 packs of 7mg and can't quit the habit within 21 mg or 14 mg. One important thing is this 7mg really remembers the craving and urge u to go back to smoking that what Iam really afraid of. If u really had to quit don't ever smoke 1 cigarette /tobacco product while stick 7 mg its up to your will power. I must overcome the craving and continue the step3.Will update...

Very effective, like other patches , light on skin, and leaves no mark or irritation. However, the sticker seems to be of no use as it has to be peeled off for using.

Quite strong, stops the urges but definitely requires will power and commitment for cessation. Initial use caused a lethargic pain in whichever site i used (left arm in my case) but settles with repeated usage. For initial hour or two, the patch site itches quite uncomfortably which u have to bear until it subsides (scratching on top of patch gently helps). Don't be empty stomach for initial few times else you'll feel very sick. Important thing is choosing the site....found higher up the arm, near shoulder it maintains the adhesive as sweat production is minimal even in summers (delhi). The lower u go (on arm....like just above elbow), the more sweat my skin produced upon application causing the patch to fall off. Avoid using same site continuously. Utilising both shoulders alternatively.

Stupid product, causes so much itching in 15 minutes. Waste of money. But gums instead, but remember not to chew them a lot. Read instructions on pack.

It’s been 3 days since I started using the patch. I was smoking close to 20 a day and decided to quit. This 100% helps to reduce the cravings. And i am down to 3-4 a day drastically.Little tips for those wanting to quit.1. Go for it. Buy in bulk so that after spending all this money atleast you’ll feel like using it so that the money is not wasted.2. Be prepared for MASSIVE nausea and vomitting feeling. So better to start on a Saturday or your days off from work.3. The place where you put the patch will start hurting in 2-3 hours. If it’s your arm, the whole arm will start hurting. If it’s your leg your thighs to toes will feel stiff. Keep it as long as you can, then take it off for the first few days. Then it gets better. See if sleeping is difficult, either you put half a patch and go to sleep or try putting an ice pack on the area and then sleep. Or not wear it at all while you’re sleeping.It’s definitely worth the trouble. I am waking up with a lighter chest and better breathing from the last two days. Go for it.

It is very helpful if you want to quit smoking, but over priced and addictive also
