This is really a beautify piece of furniture. It looks and works great.We hung it next to the washer.We thought it over quite and bit and decided to not put any finish on it. The wood is clear and smooth and we think it will patina over time to give it a nice rustic look.Keeping it unfinished means a finish won't leak out into some clothing.The fold out mechanism is taut but smooth. It does fit fairly flat on the wall and the range it extends if amazing. It stays stable with a good load of clothes on it.It makes more sense in many cases to hand up some things to dry rather than subject them to the dryer. It is also more green. We're happy with this rack!

Heavy duty and well constructed. Loss of a star for poor finish work, expected better for the price and would have bought the unfinished to paint myself had I known the poor quality. Contacted the company regarding the issue and have had no response.

This thing is hard core, solid. Larger and heavier than I imagined. I painted the cabinet white, but the bare wood is nice by itself. I tried a white pickling stain, but that wasn't quite enough for my taste. I left the interior rods/extensions bare since they will be holding clothes. You will probably need help installing and you must screw into studs. I did do it myself, but removed the rack from the cabinet first, painted the cabinet and installed, then replaced the rack after it was up. I think this will definitely meet our air drying needs and folds away nicely when not in use. Recommended.

This is a high quality product that requires no assembly. I did return it because my laundry room is tiny and it just wouldn't work in the space - couldn't fully open the cabinet doors if I had installed it.

I was a little worried about the weight of the rack when it first arrived and wondered how it would hold on the wall! No worries though! We were lucky to have good studs in the right places! It is beautiful, smooth, roomy and very practical and sturdy once it is up!

I have had a floor rack for more than 30 years and wanted something to put on the wall. This fits the bill perfectly. Very sturdy and well constructed. Owner is very attentive to emails.
