This was an excellent purchase. Very user friendly, easy to maintain and clean. The overall size of the COSORI Air Fryer 5 QT is perfect for small to large size cooking. I am not a fan of too many kitchen appliances but I will say that this is well worth the investment for what it does and the rewards that it yields to your time management, nutrition and economic needs. Overall design and color is sleek, and simple, a little more boxy for my taste and space availability but I am able to live with it for the benefits that it yields.Food experimentation was successful each time. The lamb chops came out excellent although I would try a lower temperature to begin the cooking process and finish it with the preset temperature at a shorter interval. The steak fries was also an excellent tester that passed the experimentation. The giant prawns cooked to the exact specification of tenderness on the preset temperature for seafood. This appliance is powerful from the standpoint of its cooking ability. I can put the ingredients in an 20-30 minutes later its done to the perfection that I require without having to spare a moment to keep an eye on it while I am busy with another task.I especially enjoy the fact that it is an easy to clean and maintain kitchen appliance. The basket is easy to clean even after it cools down and the crustiness from the food hardens. A quick soak in warm soapy water after the basket cools down and soft sponge does the trick. No residue of smell left in the pan at all. The inner housing can be easily wiped down with a damp cloth when the entire appliance cools down makes for easy maintenance - no more than 1 minute.It does make a huge difference in the prep and cooking when you need a quick and healthy meal after a long day of work. The COSORI 5 quart was the best after looking at a plethora of other air fryers and also having tested with my sister's (not COSORI brand). The cooking basket height and width is excellent - spacious cooking, especially if you like pans that give you room to maneuver the ingredients. The overall size of the appliance for the countertop would be slightly larger for a small kitchen with less countertop space but if you have room to spare you would hardly notice it taking up room; but for what this appliance does, I would say that the space issue becomes a non-issue.The initial and subsequent cooking in the air fryer did not yield an odd smell that you would normally get from non-stick surfaces. I did follow the suggestion to preheat and I did it with a bowl of water-vinegar solution in the air fryer for about 20 min cycle two times. The price point for this appliance was reasonable especially for what you are getting. HIGHLY recommend this particular model of COSORI.

I have 3 air fryers... well, 4 now that I have the Cosori. And I thought all air fryers were basically the same. I was wrong! I knew as soon as I unpackaged the Cosori that I was going to love it. Most air fryers have a basket with vents on the bottom and fin-like vents on the sides. NOT the Cosori! It simply has a "crisping plate" that sits on the bottom of the main pan, and you just place your food on that. Talk about life changing! Cleaning the oil and spice residue out of those side fin vents is a real mess. One of my old machines, it cleans fairly easily due to the way the vents are formed. Another one is a real bugger to clean, I have to use a non abrasive pad between each and every vent because for some reason, oils and food residue builds up there after each and every use. With my new Cosori, NO SIDE VENTS! All you do is remove the bottom crisping plate and wash in by hand OR in the dish washer! And the basket is what other fryers use to hold the vented basket, but with the crisper plate, all you need to clean is the basket and the plate. SUPER EASY!!! Another thing I love about this machine is the ease of use. It has the basic foods listed on top, just press a button and you're good to go. Me, I like to adjust times to my own preferences, again, simple and easy to do at the push of a button. OH, and those buttons! One of my air fryers has easy to push buttons. But the other, larger fryers has wonky buttons. You have to completely clean your hands and dry them, and then try pushing the buttons. Sometimes it works, sometimes I'm left frustrated and clicking a button over and over before it will register. The Cosori buttons register my finger touch with even the lightest touch! LOVE IT! Instructions are good and complete, so even a first time air fryer user will feel like a pro after cooking their first meal. OH and I have to mention the noise level. This thing is so quiet compared to my other 3 fryers! My kitchen sits next to my family room, and when cooking I have to turn the sound way up on my TV to be able to hear it over the fryer. Not the Cosori, it is very quiet while in use! I am so very pleased with this purchase, I use my air fryers daily, sometimes for 2 meals a day, 7 days a week. All I want to know is COSORI, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE??? If you're wondering which brand to buy, definitely try the Cosori, you won't be sorry. Two thumbs up from me, and I wish I had 2 more hands so I could give it 4 thumbs up!

My first air fryer and really was not sure if this was something I would really use or not. Well, the verdict is in now and I will have to say I love this thing and wish that I had not waited so long to purchase. The price and the reviews are what made me choose this model and I am very satisfied. It is so simple to operate , clean and use. We are a family of 2 and I was really surprised as to how large the basket really is. Would be perfect for 2 to 4 people. I have large double ovens and they really heat up my kitchen. Will really enjoy using this in the summer months for sure. Great Buy!!

This rocks. I use it at least 5 times/week. I had bought an air fryer from a different manufacturer and hated it. The overall foot print was too big and it didn't put out anywhere near enough power to crisp up food.This was a trial based on ChatGPT recommending it and I am glad I gave it the try. It's far faster than heating up the oven, easier to use, more power efficient, and the food tastes better than using the microwave.Definitely recommend.
