Good buy. Great movie

Why did I choose this rating. ANY MOVIE WITH PAUL WALKER is a 5. Period. Not only was he talented, but in all the interviews I ever read he was a Man you WANTED to know. Hollywood underrated him. Yes, the "Fast & Furious" franchise put him on the map, but lest we not forget "The Lazarus Project", "Running Scared" and "Joy Ride." Even "Noel." When I heard about "Hours" all I knew was it was direct to DVD. All I knew was Paul Walker was starring in it. I placed the order to Amazon in 3 minutes. If you're looking for "Fast." No. If your looking for "Joy Ride." No. This amazing, beautiful man gives a acting tour de force, in what is an incredible film. He literally pulls you in with his soft, yet attention getting voice. Sometimes no words are needed, his eye's pull you in to the emotional state he is in. If you are a fan, if you loved this Man as I did/do and appreciated his superior acting ability, you owe it to yourself to add this to your collection. It's unforgettable. And neither is Paul. R.I.P Paul and Thank you.

Being a huge fan of Paul Walker in the Fast and the Furious series, I came across this movie in recommendations by Amazon. I was a bit leery at first at him acting in a drama film, but upon reading many reviews of his acting quality outside of car chases and high action, I thought why not give it a try. I was not disappointed at all, in fact Paul seems to have had talents well beyond just the the F&F franchise.Hours was riveting all the way from the beginning to the end with no dull parts in between. Having to hand-crank a generator every couple minutes to keep his baby alive, and trying desperately to find supplies and hopefully help in the interim before the generator ran out was an incredible feat, as well as fighting off looters and trying to keep himself from collapsing from pure exhaustion.The ending was heart-wrenching to say the least, especially for a guy more used to action movies. A must-see for any Paul Walker fan or even for the movie's plot itself. Highly recommended for sure.

Love this movie great plot, great acting, I highly recommend! Loved the history and action in this movie.

I couldn't wait for my dvd copy to come so I rented this movie. Paul (and his family) should be very proud of his performance in "Hours". I'm speculating but I feel that one of the reason's he was attracted to this story was his own immense love for his daughter.I'm impressed and so moved by his choice to make this movie. There was obviously much more to Paul (and much more to come!)than a lot of his fans knew. Kudos to him; now we will only have his past performances on film and the "if only's" as to future performances to ponder. He's very missed and very appreciated!

This is such a heart breaking movie, not only because seeing Paul Walker, but all that he went through to save his baby daughter during the Katrina hurricane. My tears came out at the end. I love this movie, and all the movies that Paul Walker has done along with the Fast N Furious Franchise. Can't wait to see the last movie that he did Brick Mansions. I thought this movie was pretty great!! I am a huge fan of the fast franchise so it was great seeing him in something like this. It was completely different. He did a great job considering it was kind of a man man movie. I didn't get bored even once. I didn't findnt find it predictable either like most movies are nowadays. I would totally recommend it.
