Great Best Hits Album
I was a teenager when Santana first hit the airwaves and the band I was in was learning to play Black Magic Woman from the Abraxas album only a week after hearing it.Later Santana albums didn't seem to get better,though the music industry was headed towards much harder & more diversified rock at the time.My music teachers classified Santana as "a form of Latin progressive jazz/rock" which kinda took the thrill out of it for me and my friends. Then with the advent of progressive rock and AOR from super groups like Yes,Journey,The Moody Blues and ELP, my musical interests were drawn completely away from the Santana. Now after 43 years of guitar playing and listening to a whole realm of musical influences I found myself playing guitar with a Puerto Rican friend from Miami,FL whose style is (to say the least) Latino/Hispanic tinged.In this album is all the essential Santana tunes and signature sounds.After listening to Santana closely and carefully for the first time in 10 years,it is the BEST of the BEST,an excellent compilation of Santana's work.It was exactly what I was looking for to add to my extensive music collection,especially my "oldies" section. I highly recommend this album to anyone whose just exploring Santana or to those like myself that are looking for a complete compilation of Santana's earlier work and signature sound.

Wen man die Musik von einem Künstler oder einer Gruppe liebt die schon lange im Geschäft sind und die einem seit vielen Jahren musikalisch begleiten wird im Laufe der Jahre bestimmt mehr als ein Best Off erwerben. Von Santana habe ich schon einige aber dieses beschäftigt sich mehr mit der wunderbaren Musik von Carlos Santana aus den ersten Jahren. Preis und Lieferung waren auch in Ordnung.

This remaster is really good. I used to have the SACD version and had to part from it. The CD version purchased sounds really good. But the real ticket is all the music. Thank you Carlos.

One of my all time favourite bands and supeb live. I had the great pleasure of seeing Sanatana in London a few years ago and they are amazing to listen to and watch. This album is great for anyone new to the band and want a collection of their music, would throoughly recommend.
