This carrier/vest is high quality & priced great !
I was looking for another plate carrier/tactical carrier for my newest level IV plates and I wanted one with side panel pouches for 6X8 plates as well as mag pouches for my AR-14 / M4 magazines & pistol magazines included in the purchase which work and fit great. Side panel pockets and extra magazine/utility pouches are also a great addition . The velcro and stitching are all top notch and very rugged and well done/made .The GLORYFIRE tactical vest carrier caught my interest after seeing the quick release shoulder & cumberbund releases ~ as well as the design and magazine pouch arrangements all in 1 package .I own several different Armor carriers and plates and this GLORYFIRE unit fits ALL my needs excellently. The quick release buckle/connectors work effortlessly even when the mag pouches and molle attachments are laden with gear to complete this kit .The guide loops on the shoulder straps help to route my camel back irrigation system hose & the vest is very sturdy and rugged( even with a full load ). The mesh backing works well in hot and cold weather conditions ~ even with hard level IV armor , and the double plate velcro straps (inside the carrier pockets) secure armor very well under rough and strenuous movement and field use .I have carriers that cost twice what the GLORYFIRE carrier cost and they are nowhere as good as the GLORYFIRE . I'd recommend this vest/carrier wholeheartedly and without reservation. The price is unbeatable, the quality is superb and the fit and function are perfect .I'm 5'7" 127 lbs. and it's a perfect fit with 5 minutes of adjustment right outta the box. Brothers of mine bought the same carrier after seeing mine and they are all 5'8" to 6' plus ~ and alot heavier, and it fits smaller men like myself and them just great . This carrier/tactical vest is an awesome high quality unit ,loaded with features,it has a unique quick release system that works with a full kit loaded and priced WAY below the others.Mine is camo and I'm gonna buy another in black .Buy this unit and you'll be very happy .

Good For Big Guys
I was looking for a good vest to hold my III-A plates and some Mags. I had previously been using a converted paintball vest and was looking for something different. Mostly for Bug Out, SHTF, scenarios, not to wear at the range and be tacticool. I am a bigger guy. About 5'6 and 250 lbs. I wear a 54 suit coat, and usually buy shirts in 3XL or 3XB. I wasnt sure if this would fit. After receiving it and making some adjustments, it does fit. Its a bit of a pain to set up, but once you get it set up, there isnt much need to adjust anything. I moved the side closures to the largest position (they adjust with heavy duty velcro under the front area), and adjusted the shoulder straps shorter. Everything on it is built well, with very heavy duty velcro and good stitching. It is padded also. I would have preferred it without padding (trying to save bulk) but it is comfy. I took off the front pouches (attached with molle) and moved the side AR pouches to the front. This added a little more room for closing the vest, and I didnt need the double pouches on the front. I like the pockets on the side panels in case I want to add plates there later. Going to pick up a different molle pouch for the front also for an AICS magazine, which does not fit in the included mag holders (made for standard 5.56). The quick release works well, but will take a little getting used to. Right side works every time, left side seems to stick more, but still works. Probably will get better at it with more use. Loved the way my III-A plates stored and secured in the vest. Great fit and the velcro inside holds them in place to prevent shifting. Overall a great purchase so far!

Seems well made and durable. Will need at least dummy plates to properly fit the average person
The nylon is thick and high quality, this is not flimsy material and will need to be broken in to soften it and smooth it out. Stitching is stout, hook & loop is heavy duty. Anybody who knows how to properly weave MOLLE gear knows the webbing goes through alot of stress during the weaving process and the stitching has held up well through multiple attachments and re-attachments. The first week I got it, I loaded it down with as much stuff as I could and went on some runs with it to test its strength and break it in, I'm not seeing any stitching issues and there are no hot spots that chafe (granted you're able to get it tight to your body so it doesn't bounce around ). If you are a thin guy this will not adjust small enough to fit you tightly without at least dummy plates in it, I'm 6'0 200lbs with a relatively large chest, a bit of a beer belly, and a 36" waist; and without plates the waist straps are at the shortest length in order to fit somewhat tight around my mid-section, but not tight enough to keep the vest from bouncing when running, its loose around my chest with no real way to tighten around chest (unless plates are put in), and the cummerbund is loose on me unless I overlap each end of it over one another which adds small bit of girth due to the overlapping material and leaves less Velcro for the main front flap to attach to though the Velcro grabs very well so it won't come undone, but this keeps the front flap from seating fully causing the unsecured edges to stick out and get hung up on stuff like a sling. With all 4 plates in it, the cummerbund fits properly so that the front flap is able to fully utilize the entire surface area of Velcro, and the chest area feels good and secure. So unless you're pretty overweight, you'll at least need dummy plates in it for it to fit. So far I'm happy with it, especially for the price, since I bought it as a home defense plate carrier, and I'm look forward to putting it through the paces for further review.

Solid basic plate carrier. Will do it's job.
After comparing so many vests at so many brand names and different prices, I decided to go with this basic one. It is of good quality and good materials. It will do the job as good as a $700 vest! I built a couple of rigs with Level IV plates. With that said, here are the pros and cons: PROS: - This Carrier can hold 4 plates! 2 large 12" front and back, and 2 smaller 6x6 side plates! Side plate holder can accommodate slightly larger 7" side plates variations. - 4 Quick release latches for quick removal and seem to be of strong material and working fine - Easy to set up. Its pretty much setup and you just have to adjust it. Get familiar with the MOLLE gear system so you know how to attach the accessory pouches correctly. CONS: - Only 1! - The vest can use a bit more padding under the shoulder straps. Once you get it fully loaded with weight, it can feel like they dig into you a bit. But this is what you get for this price. The more expensive ones are more comfortable. But you can be crafty and pad them yourself with adding soft padding material to the shoulder straps. - Untested - Reliability/durability. So far, so good. Seems like it of good quality and the buckles and quick releases are working well. But I have not had it long enough to test this yet. I will update this review if anything starts going wrong with it. Great deal for the price so far! I do recommend it.

Perfect.
-Shipping was fast. No issues. -Purchased this for for workouts. -Primary inspection, I found no issues with this product. -Velcro is solid and works well, almost too well! Velcro is in all the spots needed, plus some. I was especially impressed with this aspect -Size is right on for me. I am 5'11" 185lbs, athletic build. -Easily adjustable to keep it tight and in place. Shoulder straps and mid-section straps are are solid with PLENTY of Velcro for a custom fit. -I use a 10lb plate in front and back with no issues. There are additional Velcro straps inside the plate holder pockets to hold plates in place, plus Velcro securing the pockets closed. -Pouches and Molle are perfect for holding smaller items for outdoor use. Zipper is works smooth. -Overall, I am impressed with the design, versatility, and quality of this product. This camo design is exactly what I was looking for as well.

Using for Armed Security Work
Great vest, I bought this to replace a smaller plate carrier that made me look like I was wearing a sports bra instead of a vest. Fits big guys pretty well, I'm 5'7in weighing at 240lbs. Vest came with no defects and is holding two 8lb lvl4 SAPI cut ceramic plates with ease. The vest is easily adjustable from the shoulder straps to the cummerbund and I can see no issues with even bigger guys than me wearing this. Overall a very comfortable vest to stand or sit in for a long period of time. Can't say for how it might feel in a patrol vehicle but I did wear it in my personal vehicle and it felt fine, just had to adjust the seat.

Quality OK, sizing not good for average sized guys
It’s alright. One of the quick disconnect handles popped off after one day. Not a huge deal. A little thin paracord I can likely make a new one. The bigger issue is this thing is way too large for an average sized guy. 5’9” 170lbs, I had to shift the side pockets out and re string the molle webbing to its tightest setting, and get the shoulder straps to the smallest possible setting, just so I could get the chest disconnects out from the main Velcro so they were usable and even then it’s not as great a fit as my tacticon vest. It’ll work for Airsoft but if you’re a normal sized dude I’d shop elsewhere for something with real plates

4 stars quality plus 1 star for value
This is not a bad carrier for the price. Material is soft enough and comes with fairly decent features like drag handle, fuzzy panel on both front and back for name tape and rank, mag pouches. internal hold straps along with the external flap that will hold the plates up towards the top (something my most recent carrier purchase did not have), quick release works good as long as you learn how to use it. My only complaint is that the side plate pouch, for one the flap is too long for 6x6s, but I guess if you use 6x8 it would fit better. Most of all the location of the side plate pouch, it's towards the rear of the body, but it's a major design flaws of these quick release carriers, as you stand in shooting position, there is a 3 inch gap between your front plate and the side plate, which is now DIRECTLY facing forward toward enemy fire... I guess if some one shot you from 4 to 8 o'clock when you are facing forward, you're covered... Personally I would rather that gap be towards the back of the body as chances are enemy fire is more likely coming from the forward facing directions
