I have used this hook with size 3 thread and I find it glides smoothly, no snags. Very comfortable to crochet with.

Great hook it’s comfortable in my hands I can’t use the plane hooks cause my hand starts to hurt but using this hook I can crocheting for hours at a time great quality hook and worth every penny

I purchased a Clover in a size 1.50mm and the Tulip in a 1.75mm and while the Clover worked fine, the Tulip was a bit longer and was more comfortable in my hand. I attached a photo. From now on I will only be purchasing the Tulip brand. Highly recommend

This was my first Tulip hook and I did notice a difference. I have other quality hooks, but this one is definitely a bit better.

I think this is the best steel crochet hook that you can buy. I bought it as a replacement for a regular tulip steel crochet hook that I lost. The cushioned handle is wonderful and these hooks never snag your thread. The regular Tulip steel hooks with the plastic handles are wonderful too, but the cushioned handle on this hook is what sold me.

No me gusto la forma del mango, tuve que desgastar la parte que trae pronunciada al final del gancho para poder usarlo, en las primeras usadas se ensucia el mango y pierde su brillo de fábrica. La marca escrita se borrará fácilmente porque no es grabada, es como un nailito pegado con calor. Hablo desde mi propia experiencia, tal vez a otras personas les funciono, a mi no. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have been crocheting with the “clover amours” but had some problems because the “amour steel hooks are shorter than their regular hooks by about 1/2” and this hurt my hand because I hold the hook like a knife. It was very awkward using the “clover amours”. I found that the “Tulip Etimo Rose steel crochet hooks are the full 5 1/2” which is the same as their regular hooks.I just love this 1.75mm Tulip Etimo crochet hook so much so that I am switching over to using them exclusively.In my opinion the Tulip Etimo crochet hooks are superior to the Amours for many reasons, smother, steel hooks are longer, shape of handle is better, head holds stitches better, I wished I bought the Tulip Etimo’s sooner; they are worth every penny that I paid more than the “Amours”.The hooks I. The crochet hooks in the photos are both 1.75mm. The green one is the “amour” the pink one is the “Etimo”. If you zoom in on the second photo you can see the difference in the head of the hooks.

These crochet hooks are very comfortable to use, and very easy on the hands and wrists. I was unable to crochet for about five years because my hands would ache so much when using steel hooks. Thanks to these Tulip crochet hooks with their soft handles, I have been able to crochet again.
