Alaffia Authentic African Black Soap, Eucalyptus Tea Tree, 2-Pack – All-in-One Moisturizing Cleanser for Face, Hands, Body & Hair, 32 Oz Ea

It's the Very Best Soap Eva. My whole family uses it as a body wash and shampoo. When used generously in arm pits, non-toxic deodorants (that don't use parabens or alum) become practical and effective. I have also seen ppl use it to stop bad personal whole-body odor from bacteria and their homes + vehicles stop smelling foul. It does wonders to help manage oily skin and eczema as well (not a cure but a big benefit). We put it in dispensing travel pouches so we never lack/want for it.

Fresh and moisturizing. The smell is not overwhelming like essential oils. Very very good composition (close to 20 by INCI), it cleanses the skin without attacking it... I would have just liked it a little more oily. We rarely find invigorating and very nourishing... But I still give it a score of 5/5 for its multiple use body, hair (without making frizzy hair too rough provided you don't put too much because it foams well). I like it a little less for the face in the morning without anything on it (dry combination skin). But in the evening for removing makeup I think (not tested like this yet).

I have been buying Castile Soap mostly since getting rid of most of the chemicals in my home, but I don't like how thin Castile Soap is. I've figure out ways to thicken the Castile Soap, but after a day or two, the soap would lose it's lather and I like a nice rich lather. I know that you don't "need" a lather to be clean, but for me to "feel" clean, I gotta have my lather. This soap has it ALL! It's all natural, it has a great lather, and it's nice and thick! PLUS, the scent is essential oils, not fragrance oils! Yay! What more could you ask for? You don't feel dry after using this, which Castile Soap has a tendency to do, and it's the only thing I've been able to use on my 4 year old's extremely sensitive EVERYTHING (skin and lungs) and her not have a reaction from it because the scent is either overpowering and causes her R.A.D (Reactive Airway Disease) to act up, or the soap is too drying and causes her eczema to flare up, and because she's so fair skinned (she's so white you can see her veins through her skin) her doctor says she's going to have extremely sensitive skin her whole life, just because she's so fair, and then having the R.A.D, it's common to have eczema with that, so it's a double whammy for her. This is a miracle in a bottle to me! I literally have to doctor up or water down EVERY SINGLE THING I have ever used on her in the bath because she's so sensitive to any kinds of perfumes in anything, her lungs used to collapse several times a year, I couldn't even use regular baby wash on her as a baby because it had a strong scent in it and it would throw her in the hospital in a second. Since getting rid of most of the chemicals in our home almost a year ago, we haven't had a single problem **knocks on wood** but we would still have problems with the eczema and finding something that worked for her skin. I think I have finally found it folks! If you suffer from skin problems, or you are like me and like to use all natural products, and liquid soap, but think Castile Soap is too thin, just try this soap, and I guarantee you'll use the Castile strictly for household cleaning, and make this your new body wash! I'll be checking out their other products, I am impressed! I have to make my own lotion to use on her, and if you've ever made lotion before, you know that if you mess one tiny thing up and don't get your oil and water emulsion right, your whole batch is messed up, and that can be quite pricey. With the results I've seen with this soap, I would be over the moon to see the same results with their lotion for her skin ( I think they make lotion too, I'll have to double check). Very disappointed that some drastic changes been made to the ingredients still a great Body Wash which smells great and leaves your skin smooth and soft but it is so Watery now, in fact the first ingredient listed now is indeed Water compared to when I look at the Ingredients on a older Alaffia Bottle. Again still a great body wash but very runny and watery now

The media could not be loaded. I started with the bar soap for my face and then stumbled upon this. I initially wanted to buy my regular peppermint oil soap however this is significantly cheaper for the same size. The texture is thick and creamy and it’s lasting so much longer than my prior because of the consistency. I ended up using less in the shower because it spreads and absorbs to my skin so well. Very effective soap because I am visibly brighter out the shower.

Incredible value for money, came with a mini tea tree soap that smells so good. I use a sponge/loofa so I know it will last a long time (longevity). Moisture and Thickness is good, soap lathers well. Tea tree mini soap is effective at treating itchy scalp. Follow up with a shea butter or coconut oil once dry.
