Arrived on time, in good condition, functioning as advertised.
This was one of only three or four 4-port USB-C hubs I was able to find. The others IIRC were made by Acer, Belkin, and Rosewill. Of the four, only this one and the Belkin also had power-delivery capabilities, and this one was slightly cheaper. The cable is a little short, only about 17cm. This can be good or bad depending on your use case. Personally, I think it's adequate, as it's plugged into my monitor, so not having a bunch of extra cable to tie up is a good thing, although it's a little odd to have it partially hanging rather than sitting flat on my desk. Again, not a bad thing, because it's quite light, so nothing is being stressed. However, people who want to plug it into a port on the rear of a tower will most likely need to purchase a USB-C male-to-female cable extension, keeping in mind that to use this hub to it's full capability, you would need a USB4 certified extension rated for 40gbps data & 100w power delivery.Overall, I am pleased. I will most likely use this for a very long time, at least until USB-C completely replaces USB-A.

Excellent straight hub
An excellent hub for adding drives and other devices. There are not a lot of straight USB C hubs available and this one is inexpensive and works well.

As long as you don’t need charging, this is great
It says right in the title of the product that it is “data only” and doesn’t provide charging. So I knew this before I got it. It’s well built and works great. I use it to plug two USB-C accessories into my iPad Pro. Works great. That said, I DO miss that I can’t also charge via USB-C at the same time. It never claims to charge, but still I hope they release a future version that also includes charging as I do miss that capability more than I expected I would. Still, it’s a nice piece of kit and is very slim/low profile.

Works with USB-C ethernet adapter and Sidecar to iPad Pro.
I figured I'd be hosed trying to find a USB-C hub with 4 USB-C ports and have it work with what I need. Well, this hub does the trick and is nowhere near the cost of higher end hubs that fail to deliver. I've used the OWC Thunderbolt hub and it works great, only it is too big and bulky to carry all the time.I needed a way to expand the lame two USB-C ports on my M1 Macbook Pro and maintain some (most) of the functionality the OWC hub gives me. My priorities were: 1. Extra USB-C ports. 2. Ability to Sidecar to my iPad using USB and not wireless. 3. Work with a USB-C to ethernet adapter. 4. Keep costs below $75.This hub gave me all of that and, including the cost of the ethernet adapter, I got what I wanted for less than fifty bucks. Yeah, it might not be the fastest transferring files, its unable to passthrough charge, and you can't connect a monitor to it (well, you can but it won't work). It suits my needs though and as a bonus it charges my iPad while I'm using it as a second screen. Now I have a lot less clutter at work and four pounds less weight to drag around with no loss of functionality. I'd call this great bang for my bucks.

I can live with not being able to plugin monitor
Works with everything I plug into it without an issue. Except for the display port cable from my monitor. I had to plug monitor into the computer directly.Yes, monitor input was set to display port.

Perfect USB-C hub!
*If you are reading this and wondering if you should get it, or a competitor product that slightly lower in price... just get this one. You won't regret it.*I already wrote a review, but I forgot to add photos. 1) I couldn't find a hub that had more than 2 USB-C ports; 2) This thing is tiny, doesn't demand attention, and built with aluminum. Not plastic, and doesn't feel cheap; 3) a life saver. I took velcro and mounted the little sucker under my MacBook mount. Now I could plug in my external drives, SD reader, and use the ports on my computer for other peripherals. One thing I was worried about was transfer speeds. I don't expect the fastest speeds ever, but I don't want to regret my purchase if it was going to give me more of a headache than a solution. To my surprise, the transfer speeds are fast, and feel faster than when they were plugged directly into my computer. One hard drive in particular always gave me trouble mounting. it would take forever. Since I purchased this drive it mounts in seconds.I've used Satechi before, and their product have proven to me over and over to be reliable and of quality.*If you are reading this and wondering if you should get it, or a competitor product that slightly lower in price... just get this one. You won't regret it.*

Stopped working after 18 months and disconnects drives randomly
I purchased this for my M1 MacBook Pro to connect two external drives. This hub seemed to work fine, except for the fact that it would randomly disconnect the drives. I then get the messages that the drives were not ejected properly. Started almost immediately after I started using this hub. After about 18 months, it stopped working completely, MacBook just would not see the external drives. Replaced it with theUGREEN USB C Hub 10Gbps, 4 Ports USB 3.2 Adapter with 4 USB-C 3.2 Ports, which so far works great. No random disconnects. Too bad, because I liked the form factor, very slim and tucked away nicely...
