Great oil for great price.
Ordered on Thursday, got the pack on Saturday just in time to do Oil Change. My 2013 JSW TDI requires oil that meets VW 507.00 standard and Total is one of the 4 approved oils available in the US.It costs about the same as the Castrol LL03 which i have been using until now. No difference noted during engine operation.Castrol LL03 is a green colored oil while this is just lilght gold colored. Not sure why that is but it doesn't really matter. My oil gets dirty within 100 miles of oil change and it stays black for the remaining of the OCI.I would recommend this to anyone who wants excellent product at an good price.Approved VW 507 oils.Castrol Professional LL03 5W30 (VW Dealerships)Liqui Moly Top Tec 4200 5W30 (Napa may have it, if not can order it)Motul Specific 5W30 504/507 (Some VW dealerships/ebay)Mobil 1 ESP 5W30 (PepBoys)Total Quartz INEO 504/507 (ebay)

Exceptional diesel oil for VW/BMW diesels.
I own both a VW Toureg TDi and a BMW x5d turbo. I have tried Liquid Moly Toptech 4200 and the Castrol approved European oil meeting the VW507/BMW longlife L4 designations both require. Both vehicles have some miles but not excessive for a diesel. I use 7500 as a change interval or once year but we drive a lot of miles with at least 2 trips per year and living in a rural area so I never make a year. The one notable of this oil seems to be the smoothness of the engine and the confidence I have with those intervals. My VW would use approximately a pint of oil per change and that use would begin at about 5-6000 miles with the other oils mentioned. So far with the Total oil there has been no oil usage at all and the engine seems smoother out to the 7500 drain interval.I have no way to test the oil or can determine any breakdown but the observation I am mentioning is my only real gauge. It does not hurt either that the cost per change is some 20% cheaper. Highly recommended for at least the vehicles mentioned here IMO.

I have a 2010 Jetta TDI and this a great product and price
I have a 2010 Jetta TDI and this a great product and price. The price of this 3 pack is the same as one oil change at the VW dealership. I will be ordering more! I put a lot of miles on my TDI and I change my oil about every 2-3 months about every 8,000 - 10,000 miles and I barley burn any oil. Great Product!

Works for 2006 Jetta TDI
I use this in my 2006 Jetta TDI and it has worked well, no complaints. It's fairly priced from what all I've seen and more importantly meets all the super specific VW regulations needed for their diesel motor oils. Most importantly it is readily available through amazon, ships quickly, completely hassle free of having to go to an autoparts store or to the dealer to get the oil.

TDI Approved Easy Shipping
Makes finding hard to find VW TDI oil easy and at a good price. Anyone who had tried to find vw approved oil for a late model TDI can attest to, this oil is as rare as a unicorn tears. Total Quartz is relatively cheap and VW approved with prime shipping to boot! Be aware, the comments about the bottle design is 100% true! The bottle "glugs" air like a fiend, spilling fresh sacred and precious VW approved oil down the bottle and onto the engine (not in it). No angle or pace of the pour will avoid the bottle gasping for air. Be warned! Still, a small price to pay for approved oil at a decent price. Highly recommended!!!

Yaaay, finally good cheap oil for my 2009 TDI sportwagon.
It's very hard to find quarts of VW 507 spec oil for this price. (15qt for $97 = $6.47)Mobil 1 Formula M sometimes goes on sale but its a rare catch.Glad to see Total Oil hit the US markets more. Hope the price stays constant on these.BTW. Just turned over 100k miles on the Jetta and am now getting 41mpg highway. (75mph avg) Diesels tend to get better with age. When VW fixes the emissions scandal with a software update it might even get better mpg. Perf will likely go down but it will be interesting.

For Diesel - Least expensive Porsche C30 / VW 507 oil I could find.
Prices seem to fluctuate so you may need to use price trackers. This three-pack is the best price for Porsche C30 / VW 507 oil I could find. This three-pack covers two oil changes for my 2015 VW 3.0L V6 TDI engine.Oil is one of those subjects that people can go crazy about. The VW Touareg with the same engine specifies 10k-mile oil change intervals. My Porsche Cayenne Diesel computer is calling for a 4k-mile oil change interval based on vehicle usage patterns. At my reduced interval I am only worried about meeting the specifications and reducing costs. I don't care about mileage and longevity because I'm replacing it within five months or 4k miles.

Great for BMW diesels
Did lots of research prior to purchase and this oil has one of the lowest volatility rates of all the oils out there. This is particularly important for BMW diesels due to high potential for EGR flow to cause carbon build up in the intakes. A low volatility oil will minimize oil vapors flowing through the EGR thereby minimizing carbon build up. Our diesel has over 70,000 miles and I have had zero oil consumption through the last three 5,000 mile oil changes. I like this oil so much, that I will be converting all of our other vehicles, (2006 325i, 2003 MINI Cooper S, 2005 X3), to this oil at their next oil change.
