I bought this player for my son on Feb 13 and when I gave it to him it was the wrong player and it was too late for me to return it.Thanks to support at Gokuid they reached out to me and were amazing and wonderful and wanted to correct the situation. They sent us a new player and now we are so happy that we can now play the region DVD’s. I would highly recommend this product. Thank you very much Gokuid support team for correcting this situation. Works perfect, but the cord is short.
It might seem a bit outdated to buy a DVD player in the age of streaming, but when you're staying somewhere off the grid with no internet signal, it's the perfect solution.This player works great in our little getaway spot. The only minor issue is that the power cord is a bit short—it couldn't quite reach the outlet located right below the dresser where we wanted to set it up. Aside from that, the quality is excellent, especially for the price. The remote is simple, clearly labeled, and easy to read/use. Great value overall!

It stopped working, but great customer service.
Worked OK for just over 2 years but now has stopped working. It was not used a lot.Update: The manufacturer reached out and offered a free replacement which just arrived. I'm upgrading this review from one to four stars based on this excellent customer service. I'm hopeful that this replacement will be more reliable.

Best customer service
Edit: Changing from 2 stars. Working with Choreo has been great. I was sent a new dvd player free of charge, and was refunded for the dvds that the player ruined. This company was awesome at making sure I was happy. 5 stars for customer service! And now a better dvd playerVery loud. Made my dvds skip. It got stuck on, but showed the power as off, so I had to unhook the power and plug it back in for it to work. Definitely a waste of money. 2 stars because it did work occasionally.

Nice dvd player for camping.
I wanted an inexpensive dvd player for our pop up tent trailer. I ordered this one because it is small, compatible with a smart tv, and easy to store.

I had to have someone else put it on my tv. I used it Sunday to begin watching the Chosen Series. I have the first 3 seasons. I will be getting the 4th season and when the 5th season comes on DVD I will get it also. It is easy for me to use. I am not a geek so am not good at putting things together or hooking up electronics

Great DVD Region Free player... for the price!
Great DVD Region Free player for the price. I rate 3 because it has no bells and whistles. Very simple, but it works! I wish I had held out and bought something else now, but hell, for the price it's definitely worth it if you just want something that works.
