More (stopping) Power!
I’ve become a big fan of the Magura brakes from our use of them on our tandem mountain bikes. I decided to pull the trigger on these for my XC/Trail bike with the expectation that it would save me from arm pump by requiring less finger force to slow down the bike. So far, so good. The MT7 in the front offers much more grip compared to my Guide Ultimates they replaced. The MT8 in the back has plenty of stopping power for the rear wheel on a trail bike. I also decided to spoil myself with the SL version as it’s colors matched my bike.Long term I plan on switching my enduro bike to the MT7s which are the same as the front caliper in this set.
