Does it only mirror or can it extend?

It extends from a computer, it shows up as one single extended monitor regardless of how many you connect. Have not tried mix resolution displays yet

Will it work with a projector TV?

Yes. The source or destination is almost irrelevant. If the source emits signal via hdmi and the destination receives signal via hdmi, this splitter will work. I’ve used dozens of them in different variations and Orei is one of the best brands I’ve found.

How long of an hdmi cable can each individual receiver support?

up to 15 feet unless you use fiber optic active HDMI cable then up to 50 feet.

Installed the 1x4 setup last winter for Super Bowl in a bar setting that has been using coax cat 6 baluns. We couldn’t get audio to work in our qsys

Please try setting the EDID dip switch setting on the transmitter to down, down, up, up.
