I was not sure at first how well it would stay especially at first if the edges would curl but surprisingly one side had none and the other just slightly. Stay in stop fine until the kids got in and was jumping and move so much. But even then only just a little. It never got out from under the ladder.

This is a hefty dude! There are big people in my home and this ladder does itself justice! The assembly was nice and as I say, this is a keeper! Be sure to fill it with water before trying to sink it into the pool! The air space does have to be removed!

Great little piece of plastic to place under the ladder but it doesn't suction or stay put. Each time the ladder moves, it scurries out from under the ladder legs. So far it has not flaked or chipped which I was anticipating. It's a very think little matt that comes rolled in a tube. You unroll it and slide it under your ladder. Would have been nice if it had of had suction cups like bathtub matts do. It's a really pretty color blue. I'd say there are about two inches of overhang on each side of the ladder, it's plenty wide enough.

Perfect size and well made. Not too thin.

Great concept but it des not stay down ..it needs to be a little heavier material so t can sink and stay at the bottom

Sturdy pad

Just put in a new pool liner. (What a hassle!) and wanted to make sure I didn't have to do it again. So I made sure and went the extra mile with a protective mat to put at the base of my pool ladder. This worked perfect.

Purchased this mat for a specific purpose. The mat will be positioned underneath pool ladder stairs going directly into the water. It should provide a protective cushion to prevent the bottom of ladder stairs from resting directly on the pool liner.With 3 young grandchildren that love to swim & are constantly using the ladder stairs for numerous reasons the mat will hopefully protect/preserve the liner. Currently the pool remains winterized/unopened, (early April, temperatures @ 30-40°, with unexpected Snow flurries/Freeze warnings) so I haven't used the mat.So far I am extremely pleased with my purchase of this product. When ordering the mat is available in various sizes to choose. After my purchase the mat arrived 3 days earlier than expected. The product (mat) itself is of high quality in materials & thickness & I'm certain it will meet the needs I purchased it for. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks the weather will improve & "Swim season" can begin.
