Alphacool 7V Circulatory Cooling Vest System

I was skeptical mainly because I dont just "drop" 400 bucks. I was very suprised on how well this jacket cools. I rode in 95 degrees and stayed cofortable from the neck to waist. I wish they had one for my helmet.... Downside, make sure if you are riding in that type of heat you pack it full of ice and some water to the limit, the ICE melts quickly. I do wear this under a shell which may have contributed to the quicker melting of the ice. If you do wear a shell over thie cooling jacket, make sure you have a size larger than normal or wear a loose fitting garment over it.

Very impressed, so far so good, with the florida heat these are definitely a life saver. With the bladder to the full line I personally find them a bit to heavy to be comfortable in our industry which involves going up and down ladders on roofs etc, but filled about 2/3rds of the way I find the weight better and more comfortable. So far very few complaints, as I type this Im wearing it it's about 95 degrees I started the day with a frozen bladder and I'm going on about 2 1/2 hours. We purchased one for everyone on my crew and everyone seems to like them. Personally im about 20lbs over weight so sometimes I just leave it unzipped in the front and it still cools me well.

I work in an industrial environment where it is hot and humid. I froze the bladder and it only lasted about 2 hours, but it saved me from heat exhaustion. We have ice machines available so refilling is is quick and easy. Refilled with Ice and it lasted just as long for me. Your entire core feels cool with this and I can't stress enough it's worth the money if you are sensitive to heat. Be mindful to not puncture the vest or hit the battery. Take it off if you are going to be doing anything that puts it at risk. Definitely worth the money. If you ride a motorcycle in the heat I would get their tank version that goes on the back seat for safety reasons (the battery not being on your back), but you could wear this too. The fit is adjustable with straps so the large fit me at a 47in chest with just a bit of room. I'd say the "large" with is actually their XL/XXL on there website would fit up to a 48. You can always go to their sight and order a larger size that I haven't seen listed currently on Amazon. A tip. Using ice helps with mobility for bending because, otherwise you have a solid bladder of ice pressing against your back. I kist wish it had a top handle like a backpack to hand it up.

It will keep your torso cool, but will not stop sweating. Good for working comfortable in the heat. I use it for construction work, I work outside all day. You will have to fill bladder around 3 times a day to keep vest running efficiently.

Works great

A little heavy but well worth the weight. You can feel the cold water circulating. It's not like being in AC and you'll still sweat but your core stays cool and you won't overheat. Im using it in 100°+ weather and am fairly comfortable for several hours on my motorcycle. It's spendy but seems quality and definitely keeps you cooler.

It works but it's not a perfect system. If I completely freeze the water pouch it'll last for about 3.5-4.5 hours. If I just use ice it'll barely last an hour. But if you freeze the pouch you need to run it under some water or it won't work for quite some time. I've found the best way to use it is only turning it on for a few seconds at a time rather than continuous. One the skin cools down you stop feeling the benefits from it as much till those areas warm again. I've also noticed it getting so cold it collects condensation and feels like it may be able to cause frost bite if you're too wreckless with it. It's also not perfect at keeping your whole body cool, but it will give periodic relief. As someone who works outside for hours on end, it does help, but it doesn't compete with just getting into the air conditioning. Plus it will cool you from standing in the heat, but it won't stop you from heating up from exercising or working. Like I tried using it not get as hot in Beat Saber, but it just doesn't cool the whole body enough for that. Would need a whole body suit for that.

It’s great! Got this for my husband while he goes fursuiting, since he overheats easily. It kept him ice cool for a few hours in the summer heat! I think it was definitely worth the money, it pretty much saved his butt. I will say, it’s a little heavy and it looks like you have a hunch back, but worked like a charm.
