It's a nice kit, it includes all the pieces I needed. I'm not knowledgeable about electronics or wiring, but was able to figure it out without too much fuss. I used it to change a fireworks lamp I got from Europe that had european plugs and wattage, so it's safe to use in my home. It was pretty easy once I figured the basics out, and now I have a fully functional, safe lamp. I do wish they offered a black one with a rocker switch instead of the bumpy wheel, but it's fine.

I purchased this product to switch out the wiring so I could convert my Turkish lamp to Americas power requirements. The product does the job, but the switch was too close to the socket end. Because of this I have the switch under the base and have to lift the lamp every time I turn on the lamp. But the product itself is a good quality and came in good condition. The lamp works but the switch is in an inconvenient spot. Does the job but bummed about that one factor.

Easy to install with basic electrical skills worked as advertised for my wife’s Grandmas Christmas light that hasn’t worked in years that she gave us before she passed. The kids loved seeing it light up again as it is very sentimental.

I bought a lamp and the base where the bulb sits broke almost immediately. I didn't want to pay for a whole new lamp and got this kit to try and repair it. I'm so glad that I did! The switch and bulb socket materials are very light duty

I ordered this kit as I’d never wired a lamp before and wanted an easy to assemble kit with everything I’d need, to lower the electrical risks. However when the kit arrived the instructions were for a different kit. They are also very minimal (1-2 paragraphs and 1 graphic). I thought they would walk me through the process in a comprehensive way. I have been unable to assemble the socket and therefore cannot use my lamp.
