Much better than most
I’m XS, short and thin, and fit is always an issue. These are a tad big but much better than most. They were really too big at first, but I washed and dried them hot, and they shrank enough to be OK.The material is heavier than I like for summer, but probably great for outside S. FL. I expect it will be better here in winter. Another plus: I got beige and white, and they are not see-through.In fact, I’ve ordered another pair to hopefully shrink! They’re not perfect, but they’re fine—especially for the price.

Sizing for larger ladies explained
This review is to help women with not classically, perfect figures: I am 5’7” and 67 years old. For reference, I wear about an 18w. I bought these in a 3X, and although I liked the fit at the waist, they were huge in the seat and thighs. When I was younger, I was very wide at the hip, and flat in the stomach, and these might have worked in a 2X. Now I am thicker in the middle, while my hips and legs are much slimmer. I thought I might re-order these in the 2X, and then I took a chance and ordered the XXL instead. The size chart indicates that both sizes would be about the same in the waist and hip. I don’t think the plus-sized pants are cut the same way at all. The XXL fit me in the waist and upper hip area, but they have a much leaner fit in the lower hip area and the thigh. For me - perfect! 😀… But back in my younger days, when I was relatively trim everywhere except my generous thighs and hips… then the 1x or 2X plus size with the wider legs would have been a much better fit than the XXL. Since these are stretchy in the waist, ordering for waist size is not as critical. I know everybody carries their weight differently, so I hope this helps you choose which size to buy.I think these are going look great on me this summer. They were pretty much the right length - maybe 31 inches? I do expect them to shrink an inch or so and I am fine with that. I haven’t washed them yet, but I will probably hang them to dry and then put them in the dryer to finish. I’m not planning to iron these. I like the ecru color I a lot. I’m looking forward to making these into some great summer outfits. I love the fact that these have two back pockets and two nice big nicely-tailored front pockets as well. I hope this helps!

Perfect for Travel – Light, Comfy, and Easy to Wear
I’ve purchased several pairs of Amazon Essentials linen pants over the years, and they’ve become a staple in my summer wardrobe. This is my second pair in the ecru color—I'm hard on the lighter shades—so I was pleased to see that while the fabric is a slightly different tone than my previous pair, it's still a flattering light tan that goes with everything. The fabric is light and breathable, perfect for warm weather, yet has enough weight to drape nicely without clinging. There’s a slight stretch for comfort, and the fit remains relaxed and easy to wear. One feature I really appreciate is that the pockets don’t show through the fabric, unlike many other linen pants I’ve tried. While you’ll still want to wear light-colored undergarments, the material isn’t overly sheer.I take these pants with me every summer to Europe—they’re ideal for sightseeing during the day and can be dressed up a bit for casual evenings out. The waistband on this newer version feels slightly stiffer than past iterations, but it’s not uncomfortable and doesn’t detract from the overall wearability.Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and will likely keep coming back for more.

Wide and shapeless on my frame but nice fabric
I'm a pretty standard size XS/S and am always excited when XS is available. 5'4, 115lbs, 24.5-25" waist, 37" hip.I didn't actually mind the length but they definitely didn't hit where they did on the model. Just an FYI.These fit great in the waist with easily an inch or so to spare. But everywhere else they just look enormous. I have a slim build but a small to average size bum and thighs. These pants somehow magically make me look like I have zero bum and are completely unflattering. I could see them being extremely cute and flattering on someone with a small waist and thicker thighs/booty. For my body type I definitely wish they were more fitted. The fabric does seem nice and they're flowy so would be amazing for summer! I just wish they fit. I considered altering them but I don't think it's worth the effort.

Wore them once, ripped wide open in seat!!
I got these and I was really pleased with the fit and style of them. I was planning on taking them to Italy next month for a trip with my daughter. I went on a little weekend get away and thought I would give them a dry run before the big trip. Thank God I did. I wore them to brunch on Sunday and they split wide open in the back despite them being loosely fit. I would have been so mad if these were brought along to be one of my go to pants and split open like this on any of our excursions. I was able to get to Eagle Outfitters and get a much better quality for about $60. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Very comfortable and flattering.
I love the way these fit and feel on. Although, you can definitely still tell I’m fat, I think these are flattering for me. I’m 5’5”, I weigh 220, typically wear an xl or xxl/16 or 18 pants. XXL and size 18 are generally somewhat baggy on me, but 16/xl can sometimes be a bit tight, I’m 44 and have had 3 kids and have recently put on 50 pounds which I am in the process of trying to lose, so I workout and am somewhat muscular and not just squishy everywhere. My belly is pretty bloated in this picture because of the monthly blessing and I can still pull the waistband out about 2 inches. I have a pretty big booty and did a few squats in them to see if they felt like they would rip and they didn’t. I will definitely be buying these in more colors once I lose some more weight, but will probably have to go down a size once I’m back under 190-ish. The fabric is thick enough to not be see through, but thin enough to feel cool in the heat(I live in Florida). The front pockets are big enough for my phone too. If you’re between sizes, you should definitely go with your smaller size.

Comfort and style
Love these pants. The fabric is perfect for hot weather and not see through. I ordered large first and returned them for a medium so they may run bigger than normal. They're comfortable and I like the trendy look of the wider leg width.
