I styled these with added black for the roots. She loved them.

These faux locs are amazing. I wanted to try them out to decide for sure if I wanted to loc my own hair or not. This has made the decision for me! The locs look more natural after they have been installed for about a week.

Love this hair easy to install and the blue is very vibrant. Got a lot of compliments. Will purchase again.

The locs are very light weight but the more you use it does become heavy at some point

The media could not be loaded.  So let me first start off with saying that this is my first time doing faux locs .The install was pretty easy . I first individual box braid my real hair , then crochet one loc to each braid , then take some loose hair ( freetress : water wave) and wrap my hair and the lox together ( sealed with nail glue) . After I was done , i took the loose hair and started randomly crocheting individual strands throughout my head . I wanted to have distress / boho locsIn regard to the hair , I love it ! Very light weight . I have approximately 50-80 strand in my head and it still so light . I ordered 24 inches but it was so long I ended up cutting it to about a 18-20inch (when cutting I tried to layer each loc so it could fit my face better) . After I cut them I took a lighter and burned the end ( you don’t have to do this , I just wanted to make sure there was no unraveling) . Some of the loc unravel easier than other especially at the top next to the crochet hole so you might have to keep up with it by either wrapping it tight or constantly replacing it by altering it out.The pictures I posted is a week in . As you can see it a little frizzy but it not a big deal because I want it to look more natural. I will try to push it for another week but after that I will take it out and re install . It also did have a strong factory smell but disappears after a couple of day.Overall I love this hair , I will girl it a 9 out of 10 . It didn’t get a 10 because the unraveling get annoying sometimes . But overall I highly recommend. Going forward anytime I decide to do this style I will be ordering from this vendor!

The best thing about this hair is that it didn’t have a chemical reaction with my skin! Every other time I’ve put synthetic hair in my head, it’d feel like my scalp was on fire! This was the first bundle of hair that didn’t do that - I didn’t pre-wash or rinse the hair at all! It’s pretty light weight & there was no chemical smell either. I’ll definitely order some passion twist for my next style! 8 packs be fine for a normal head.
