Decent alarm clock with radio from Philips
Loved the alarm clock with radio. Perfect for both kitchen while cooking or for bed side table. (Not portable. Has to connect it using AC plug) The build quality seems decent. Radio channels are clear. (Got an in build cable to catch radio signals)

Don’t waste your money
This Philips alarm clock is useless. Doesn’t work with batteries. And when I use it via electric connection. The alarm sound is too low. Keep life simple and get an analog alarm clock.

It does the job pretty well. Though it's mono FM works well. But I guess things like Bluetooth connectivity, time since etc. missing.

I was tired of using my iPhone as an alarm clock. After years, it’s too easy to snooze it repeatedly while half asleep, or even turn it off accidentally (I guess this is what happens from time to time because I wake up later and see no sign of an alarm). Also the tone options are mostly annoying and good ones have grown old. I wanted something separate from my phone for many reasons, really. This Philips alarm clock has served me well so far. I’ve had it for about a month and I wake up easily with the gradually increasing volume. I use the radio so I never wake up to the same sound. Sure, sometimes what’s playing is some strangers voice announcements but it’s been fine. I like the sleek and simple appearance of the face. I like the shape. It’s dimmable. You can set two alarms and choose either radio or alarm tone separately for both. There’s an antenna cable that I’ve just left in the bundle it arrives as. Can’t seem to get a clear station whether I leave it or open it up and move it around - lots of static, but I usually get a clear enough connection that I hear scratchy music when I wake up. I do wish that was better. I’d also prefer separate buttons for radio controls / alarm clock controls, rather long presses and such but it’s not difficult to use the combined buttons.
