I used the eGPU I purchased with a Razer Blade 15 Advanced 2020. It has a RTX 2080 Max-Q. Every single game or benchmark I threw at it performed WORSE, except for maybe a few that performed barely better. It took me nearly a month to debug and I came to two possible conclusions: either my unit came defective or the Thunderbolt 3 port throughput just isn't enough to power a 3090, which would make this downright a scam.

This is literally the worst 3090 i ever got, you cant game for more than 1 hour before it thermal throtle and less alone trying to mine when you are not using it

I received a defective card and after i returned it (at my own cost of 60$) I was charged a restocking fee equal to the cost of the card! even though their own policy states that I wouldn't get a restocking fee o defective items.
