Sunny & Honey Carpet Cleaner Shampoo Solution for Machines, 1 Gal Mint

This is the best carpet shampoo. It is all natural and cleans our over 30 year old Mohawk off white carpet well! We are painting the inside of the house and eventually will replace the carpet but until we drop thousands - this stuff is wonderful! The carpet is sooooo soft and smells so great! I love the summer scent. I bought the gallon size because with 3 elderly dogs….. this works! One of our pups has gum issues and bleeds a little on the carpet after he eats - blood stains come out easily. You can also mix a 50/50 soap to water ratio and put it in a spray bottle and do next to the baseboards. This works. Trust me, this carpet is as old as the hills and it looks fabulous. I just really love that it keeps the carpet soft. It really is a miracle. Buy the gallon size - and you’ll be happy you have it on hand if you have dogs! I use the BISSEL carpet shampooer I bought at Menards - I put it on the soap dispenser and use the deep clean setting. I also use it in my LittleGreen. It’s fabulous!

This is by far the best shampoo I have ever used on my carpets. We have 2 large dogs and util recently, a cat. When my daughter comes to visit she brings her 3 large dogs. So that’s 5 huge dogs that run and today in our huge property and then come inside. I just finished shampooing my carpet and it has never looked so clean. I thought it was odd to go back over the area with clean water only, like a rinse, but when I did so much more dirt came out. I will admit I only did this to the living, signing and hallway as my house is huge and I was tired. The scent was “summer fresh” I believe. It’s ok, not overpowering yet cleaner smelling than 5 dogs! I am ordering another bottle as I used the entire thing today.

Sunny and Honey carpet cleaning solution is without question the BEST I have ever used. The smell is pleasant and not overwhelming, it removes stains that have been set for a while. My carpets look and feel brand new. Don’t question this purchase if you want a clean carpet

Updated Review - 9/15/2016 I originally posted that the fragrance was too strong... Well, the responsive folks at Sunny & Honey contacted me and let me know that for machines with a separate solution tank, like my Hoover FH50150 PowerScrub Deluxe, that I needed to dilute the solution with water: 50% water / 50% solution for normal cleaning, 75% water / 25% solution for a lite cleaning. They said I was not the first person to experience this issue with a machine that uses a separate solution tank. They also said they are updating their product label with new mixing instructions for machines that use a separate solution tank. Sunny and Honey were very helpful and responsive in addressing my problem. Thank you. To Sunny & Honey's credit, it seems that immediately after I bought their cleaner, they sent me an email with their updated diluting instructions. They tried to inform me, but I unfortunately overlooked their email. Anyway, I tried the product again, this time diluting the solution as instructed in the email, and I found that it cleans my carpets great. It also seems to perk up the carpet fibers. But, the fragrance is still a little too strong for my nose. My daughter likes it. But, she does not spend as much time in the room as I do. Although I'm not a fan of the original fragrance, I love the people at Sunny and Honey. Their customer service has been incredible. They told me they are coming out with a new fragrance. The new fragrance is more minty and not as strong. I have agreed to try it out. Had it not been for Sunny & Honey's outstanding customer service and dedication to their product and my satisfaction, I would not be updating my review from 2 stars to 4. I am so impressed with the service I received from Sunny & Honey that I am truly hoping I love the new fragrance. I would love to be able to give the product 5 stars. Original Review - 9/14/2016 The fragrance is too strong for me. Smell is so strong I can taste it in my mouth. Had to rinse twice with my Hoover before my room was breathable again.

The lavender fragrance was very nice. The carpet is gray and shows the dirt. I used a different brand and it didn’t do the job. This shampoo is great! It removed the dirt and made the carpet look like new again. Recommend using and I will purchase this shampoo again.

Updating review: The seller of this product contacted me and issued an unsolicited refund. Also it looks like they do sell large bottles of one of their rug shampoos, just not via Prime. I don’t think I’ll use this for my rugs again because the amount of shampoo needed was simply cost and labor prohibitive. Perhaps it works very differently on synthetic carpet? I will likely use it again as an upholstery shampoo, however. It did a beautiful job on synthetic velvet and is extremely gentle. Really mixed feelings about this product. When I cleaned my Tibetan carpets and some furniture recently, I had the opportunity to compare one of the regular Hoover products with this one (only because shipping from Honey & Sunny took so impossibly long even though it was Prime, that I finally gave up and used the old stuff). There was a lot to like with Carpet Miracle-no chemicals, low sudsing, colors didn’t run, and it seemed more gentle. It did a beautiful job on a vintage velvet sofa, leaving the poly velvet soft and shimmery. Though it took a lot of passes to clean any visibly soiled areas. With the rug, however, I ended up extremely annoyed. 1. It’s a lot of work to wash a bunch of rugs, and I have many so don’t have the means to pay to have them professionally done at $200-$300 each twice a year. First, enzyme treatment for a day if there are any pet accidents, then I always go over them at least twice with warm water with some vinegar to pull out the first round of soil. One round of washing, then multiple rounds of rinsing adding things to condition the wool. My back does not thank me when done. The rugs I did with regular carpet cleaner came out great as always. I dilute it excessively so it’s more gentle, but still pulls a lot of grime, vegetable dyes don’t run, etc. I put essential oils in the rinse water as well. Then Carpet Miracle finally arrived, so I went to work on an 8’ round rug that was still waiting. It didn’t pull nearly as much grime-in fact I’m not sure it was any different than warm water and vinegar. The scent isn’t offensive, but reminds me a bit of bubble gum. It certainly doesn’t last in the fibers. As the rug dried over the last few days it gave off a very strange odor that I’ve never noticed before. It’s a newer rug so wasn’t that dirty, and there were no pet accidents so that wasn’t the cause of the odor. Now I feel like I have to go through the whole process again with a different shampoo, or at least several more passes with hot water and vinegar. Then days of waiting for it to dry. The rug simply doesn’t doesn’t smell clean, so I doubt that it is. The fibers were left very soft, so that’s nice, but it’s a heck of alot of work and hours to repeat the process. Very irritating. 2. I did one loveseat and one 8’ rug with carpet miracle, diluted per their instructions. I didn’t spray an excessive amount of soap on either. With that done, the bottle is nearly empty. “Concentrated” is a relative term. This is extremely expensive carpet shampoo given the area it covers. The company should at least offer a more budget-friendly, large size. I may not even have enough to do one entry size rug and will have to buy another bottle of shampoo for the remaining rugs. That’s just ridiculous. 2 pieces cleaned with one full bottle of shampoo? While I want to eliminate the chemicals, I don’t think it’s necessary to pay 5x the price for that privilege. I would need probably 5 bottles of Carpet Miracle to wash all my rugs and a few furniture pieces. Or just one bottle of regular carpet shampoo that would actually get them clean the first time. If I can’t find another natural alternative, I may buy this again just because it’s so gentle on the wool. But I’ll look for an alternative first, from a company that ships more reliably. And if I do purchase again I’ll do so begrudgingly, knowing I’ll need to shampoo at least 3 times for each piece (that’s how many more hours?) and feeling ripped-off the whole time.

I have to say this is the best stain remover and not only is this for carpets, I’ve used it on clothes and a purple ink stain on my tan couch and it removed all the stains, and the smell is amazing, after I cleaned my bedroom carpet I could still smell it 2 weeks later. Highly recommend

I have used a lot of cleaners and this one delivers what it says! It left my carpet with no stains. It is still soft after a week Anna smells nice. We have a couple of naughty dogs and this cleaner is amazing.

Doesn't work as well we thought for the price

This is the 4th time I have purchased this carpet cleaner for use in my Bex Bissell cleaner. It is highly effective for cleaning my carpet especially with 3 dogs at home and I love the scent it leaves. It is also pet friendly. I use it in a spray for cleaning up spillages as well. Great product!

Fantastic product that I highly recommend. The best part about it, is that it not only removes impossible odours (which many other products couldn’t) but it smells of fresh mint and not of chemicals. Love love love this stuff.
