These skis were recommended to me by my sister over the usual tennis balls for my husband's walker.With tennis balls, I was dreading the dirt, mud and debris they would track in. I also figured they'd wear out fairly quickly since we don't have sidewalks, there's a lot of gravel and, here in Western WA, a lot of rain, mud and cedar leaves. Side note; if my Lab was still alive she'd be going crazy, trying to rip the tennis balls off the walker; even. while. in. use. so if you have a ball crazy dog, this is another reason to get the skis instead.The skis are easy to install, heavy duty, don't track the great outdoors inside, and glide over floors. The front is sloped like snow skis are which helps to keep the walker from "stubbing" over slight differences in floor transitions. I highly, highly recommend them.

These fit perfectly onto the walker, and worked very well on carpets, moving onto tile floors, and outside. It was a great buy, and the price made sense.

I've bought these several times now. They are reasonablly easy to install. The old ones can be hard to get off. I wish they held up longer. Maybe it's the ground I travel on but they seem to wear out quickly. If I found more durable ones I'd probably swithc. Good for price though.

I truly believe ski glides on walkers are the safest way to move around with a walker. These ski gliders were extremely easy to install and quite sturdy.

The extra high curve at the front, along with them being so "heavy duty" allow my 90 year old dad to easily transition from the wood floor to a thick area rug.
