Nice light, a bit misunderstood.
This is a solid light with a bright beam and good construction. I received it in late November and it's a bit chilly to dive (though I've done some cold water and a little ice-diving it's not my thing). I gave it a dunk test and it stayed dry; the waterproofing looks good although you need to be careful to maintain the o-rings and inspect them for damage and/or presence of hair or other contaminants that would cause a leak under pressure. I've seen some reviewers dismayed by the lack of a usb charging port; I'm guessing those folks don't dive much. You want as few holes as possible that need to be sealed. This light does that right. I found the headband, made of rubber, uncomfortable on land; it would probably be better in the water. I got about 3 hours of light at high paper and the light did not get too hot, sometimes a concern with underwater lights used on land. The color-changing LED on the power switch does indicate the battery level, but you won't be able to see it when the headlamp is on your head above your mask. Also, depending on the style of the mask it may not be possible to adjust the beam downward to center on your area of view. Another area of contention seems to be the batteries; they are the 16850 type and these are among the best for this type of use. The supplied charger works, but I have better chargers and lithium batteries can be dangerous if not charged properly; I'll be using chargers that are more substantial than the unit that was supplied. Getting 2 batteries is a plus as the batteries are a bit pricey (though they last a long time with care, and are easily found on Amazon and other sites; often with higher capacities). Also, the light does not give off 8,000 lumens (as it says in the title) or even 6,000 (as it says in the description), but it is bright. Some wonder about the usefulness of the SOS setting, well if you've ever surfaced far offshore in 3' waves and the dive boat has drifted away from you far enough that you can't see it you wouldn't be questioning the utility of an SOS setting. I'll mostly be using mine for field work at night when it's raining and it will excel at that; I'll definitely take it along the next time I go under.

Very bright
This headlamp is very bright. The elastic band is pretty strong too and doesn't move around much at all.The battery life is very decent too. Charging doesn't take too long, which is a real plus. It's easy to use and the size of it makes it easy to store.

The rubber that holds the light is crap
The media could not be loaded. Kind of disappointed haven’t even been able to take this in the water yet and the rubber part that holds the light is holding on by hair and once that breaks, I’m not gonna be able to use this in the water. It’s kind of poor idea. They should’ve used a better material, kind of feel like it was a waste of 60 bucks or whatever it was

Nice headlamp for underwater scuba or snorkeling
Nice headlamp for underwater scuba or snorkeling. I've used this several times in the water for both scuba and snorkeling. It is easy to turn on even with gloves and the brightness is nice. Hasn't leaked yet and the headband stays on without being too tight.
