can the fins be removed?

Hello Alex, Yes, to answer your questions the fins can be removed. However, we want to make you aware that reviews do suggest that removal of the fins is useless without the fins. So please understand that by doing that it will perhaps make the board a little more unstable when riding. Will it hold 300lbs ?

Prob not a problem but more dependent on does your boat have the power to pull 300 lbs out of the water.

Are the fins removable?

They are removable but I don’t know if you can find a different fin setup.

I ignored other reviews which talked about quality - big mistake. Holes on the board don't line up with the pegs on the fins. Save yourself the hassle and buy something that has quality of workmanship. This is going back to Amazon.
