The price seems great.** A: I'm not sure about the gator case but this has been working out great. Not having a hard devider between the trays is my only issue with this case. **Q: Sorry, a stupid question: I'm sure it doesn't come with microphones, but I can't determine if comes with all the foam shown - blue and grey/black?** A: Yes it comes with all the foam shown. They are cut outs and you pull out however many spot you need the only down fall with this case is the blue divider is soft and not attached to the gray foam so getting to the mics underneath you have to take the top ones out first.
