CroydexAD107041 Wireline Cable with 12 Shower Curtain Clips, 3000mm

Was a little dubious as some reviews said the threads on the fittings where no good and the screws and wallplugs weren't up to much, but as I have plenty of screws and decent rawlplugs I wasn't concerned. Turns out one of the fittings is reverse threaded, this is a nice touch as tightening one end doesn't losen the other, also the supplied screws and plugs where good enough for the job, it's hung taught and looks good. For the money it cost its spot on.

It may seem a lot of money for what appears to be a bit of wire, but it is very well made, solid, straightforward to put up and looks quite sophisticated when in place. Its up to you if you wish to use the clips or adapt them to go through the holes in the shower curtain. For me the clips are perfecly fine.One big advantage of the wire is that the curtain slides very very easily on it, unlike most curtain poles. Also it doesn't create a dust trap that a pole often becomes.All in all very pleased with this.

Want something to hold your shower curtain up that isn't a fat pole, this is the item for you. It is easy to install, but does require a good strong fixing at each end so you can tension the wire well enough, and you do need to have clamped up the wire with the grub screw well too, or it will slip.

I bought this expecting a clip arrangement as mentioned in the product description (and other reviews plus the manufacturers website). To my suprise it came with a set of hooks for a more traditional curtain with holes(the wire goes through a circular loop and the curtain hooks onto an attached open hook). As it happens this wasn't a problem ... in fact probably preferable, as the curtain I wanted to hang did have holes. But something to be wary of if you are planning to hang a curtain without.An allen key is required to attach the 'collet' piece to the wire at each end. The instructions said it was included but it was not. Not a show-stopper for anyone with a basic set of (small) allen keys in their tool box. Probably obvious but, you will also need a wire clipper to cut the wire to the required length.The product itself is a nice, simple and clever design that seems to work well. That is so long as you tighten the connector tightly to the wire. On my initial effort the wire was pulled out of one side under the weight of the curtain. I re-tightened the piece that attaches to the wire at each end and added the two 'spares' they give you for added strength and now all seems well.Docking one star for misleading/vague description of the curtain attachments and the missing tool.

This was easy to set up. Safe and secure. Better than the normal extension poles that keep falling off unless secured somehow. Very minimalistic, wont gather dust on top. But the ring hooks will have to be squeezed tighter or the some parts of the curtain may come off. Not a major problem but worth doing.

This shower alone is completely useless. The thread of the attachment doesn’t even screw together as the threads are diff sizes so it just falls off. A completely pointless defected product! So disappointed.

spotted these in a high street store, and went to go back and buy it and they didn't have one so went looking.Found it on here. I used to have one of the expanding poles which kept falling off out. This solved all of this. Fantastic simple and only two screws. Lack of dust settling on top, always a bonus!!Great item loved it!!
