Took two walks with this collar and my dog’s behaviour has turned around 100% now he can be off lead and does not run and bark anymore at other dogs. Truly amazing! You do need to pay attention toon so you can push the button at the right time, and the control does go into sleep mode so a couple of presses are needed however if you pay attention whilst using it, it works beautifully. X

There was a problem with my first order, but the company quickly replaced it within a couple days. It works great. I have a very territorial German Shepard/Husky mix who thinks he needs to bark at every sound, person or other dog. I like that I can train him with several different levels of deterrent. I always give a sound first, then bump up to the vibration if needed and lastly when he’s really dedicated to his bark, he will get a citronella spray. These options work well. The spray they give in the box to use has a mild scent. I read someone else report on another product how horrible the smell was and that it lingered in their dog forever. This product doesn’t, yet is very effective. I’m sure the sounds as it comes out is part of what startles him to stop barking. He immediately jumps and looks everywhere around himself trying to figure out where it came from😆. He still barks, but I think that is a strong drive in him to bark and he’s under a year and still learning. But he is easily stopped with this bark collar. I also use it when he thinks he needs to chew on my bushes or trees. A quick spray and he’s done😉.

The collar worked as advertised, but my dog just ignored the sprays even at level 3. Dead rotten dear flesh still consumed 😔

I would have preferred a simpler spray collar but this model is one of the few options without an automatic bark feature, which I didn't want. Having said that I am quite pleased with this purchase. It comes with one receiver/spray module and two collars in the box. One collar is already attached and there are screws and a small screwdriver to fasten the second collar onto the module when it needs to be replaced. Both the receiver and the remote charged quickly and it was easier than I expected to pair the remote control with the receiver module. The tone is fairly quiet but the vibration feels very strong. I don't know if I will use that feature but I could see it being an effective aversive stimulus in addition to or instead of the spray. When I tried it out today using the tone it worked to stop the unwanted behavior in my dog (he is already trained with this type of collar so he knows what the tone means) however there was one problem. The receiver turns on and stays on but the remote shuts off after a certain period of time which means you have to turn it back on before you press a button to give the stimulus. So there is a slight delay in giving the stimulus which could reduce its effectiveness. I understand that this feature is to save the battery charge but if the receiver module is always on then I don't see why the remote couldn't be too. The remote is also larger and more complicated than I need because it has three channels to function with three different receiver modules on three dogs. I can see the value of that for some people but I would have preferred a simpler less expensive version of this collar that works for just one dog. All in all though it is a very good spray collar.UPDATE: I am editing this review to report that after less than a week of use the screws that hold the collar on the receiver module came loose on one side and the collar fell off my dog. Luckily it was not lost as we were in a fenced in area and were able to find it. I reattached the collar with the extra screws in the box and tightened both sides and I think I will have to tighten them after each use to be sure it doesn’t happen again. I use this spray collar specifically to discourage my dog from eating poop at the dog park (because unfortunately not everyone picks up after their pet) so he is wearing it during play with other dogs, but still I would expect it to hold up longer than three or four days.

This collar was easy to size down to my JRT and easy to switch between citronella spray and vibrate, which is what I wanted.The spray and battery both run out very quickly, within a couple of days, so I often find I can’t correct my dog because the juice has run out. That’s frustrated me to the point where I’m not using it anymore.
