POTAUTO MAP 1032W (CF8813A) High Performance Car Cabin Air Filter Replacement for ACURA MDX, HONDA ODYSSEY PILOT

The filter is fine, and it pops into its cavity 1-2-3 (after cleaning out the collected grime). But, OMG, getting access to the location is a nightmare because you have to remove the glove box. Main reason is that the glove box hinges are attached to their brackets with 8 mm hex screws that go in at an angle UNDERNEATH and in back of the hinges making it extremely difficult to reach with a hex socket (or a phillips screwdriver) because you cannot see the screw heads. You have to "feel around" for them at the right angle while in an awkward posture due the obstruction of the seat. To make matters worse, the hinges have "ears" on either side of the hole so that there's not enough space to easily start the screws with your fingers. I fail to see why the glove box hinges could not have been designed to rest ON TOP of the brackets allowing for the screws to go in from above where you could see and have easy access to them. What was the design engineer smoking?

Seems like good quality and fit my 2004 Acura MDX well. Note that getting access to this filter on an 04 is a minor pain (poor design by Acura). A vacuum with really thin crevice tool is likely beneficial to clean out the air box on the intake side where a bunch of pine needles and other junk was stopped by the filter by design.

Delivered as described on time great product, great value for the money . It didn't have a arrow to show air flow.

"Colors Photos Installation Instructions"...This is a good quality built cabin air filter for my SUV. What appreciated the most was the color photos installation instruction. Potauto Map has done a great job in included it. I am repairing to order another set. Oh, and the price is good, too.

Looked like factory OEM but probably wasn’t. Fits perfectly like it should and filters like it should.

Part quality seemed on par with OEM. Part fit very well. Price was fair. Warning that this was a real pain to replace-check out the youtube before you start.

Replaced an OEM filter on a 2000 Odyssey that was way past due with this. Build quality was excellent for the price; without doing a detailed analysis I would say both the frame and filter material were extremely similar to OEM.Fits perfectly. Filter is a bear to install through no fault of its own; Hondas require removing a the entire glovebox and some support structure before the filter is accessible. One removed, filter itself is easily installed.Car no longer has the musty smell of old leaves!

Perfect fit in my 2006 Acura MDX Touring edition SUV. I did the intstall my self which wasn’t so bad. Luckily this plastic part that’s bonded was already broken as someone had already changed it before. Other wise you have to pry it off yourself. The plastic on the side by your door is a little annoying to move out of the way but it was overall really easy. Definitely recommend just watching a couple YouTube videos before/while you do it.
