Wow. Hubby got me this for my birthday. I love Cuban coffee, even being a country girl from WV.First cup and every cup since delicious and perfect. This isn't just for Cuban coffee. That's just my fav.

This is an attractive unit in our kitchen, and we bought it because it had more 'flair' than other espresso makers in its price range. I've had a few of these espresso makers over the years, and they all seem to make similar quality of coffee, so no surprises there. I'm docking one star because the power switch is temperamental. It turns on fine, but when I go to turn it off it doesn't settle easily in an 'off' state and instead toggles over to the steamer setting. I have to rock the switch back and forth a bit to make sure it is truly off and no longer producing heat/pressure. That said, I would purchase this product again because it produces a fine cup of coffee/espresso and we like the design.

I purchased my unit in January and brew 2 espressos every day. It worked for about 45 days when the LED ring around the operation knob stopped working. I didn't look at the LED ring during brewing so it wasn't sure went that stopped working. Steam started to blow out at the sides of the brew basket occasionally during brewing. The power switch has now stopped working. I can't find the manufacture's web site or telephone number. I'm going to buy a espresso maker from a known company later today. One that has a web site and customer service number. My old Krups lasted for years, this unit made it 8 months.

It looks good but cheaply made. Works ok. My Mr Coffee espresso maker works way better and was less expensive.

Works well and was exactly what I wanted in an espresso maker.

Never makes good espresso with a nice crema, even with Illycaffe beans ground moments before. I should note that I owned and ran a coffee house and became an expert barista.
