Due to contractual disputes, their first effort has been out of print since 2004. Well, Jurassic 5 fans can rejoice, as this album is now back in print! If you're a Jurassic 5 fan, you already own this album, so why are you reading this? If by some miracle you don't already own it, buy it NOW! This set contains the original release album as well as a "Bonus" CD. The original is a certifiable classic. If you know J5, you know all of the stuff on it already. If you like underground hip-hop that focuses on the vocal aspects of the genre more than the beats and instrumentals (although those are equally good), this album is great. "Improvise", "Jayou", and "Concrete Schoolyard", my three personal favorites from this CD, are all on this album, and so is "Lesson 6 - The Lecture", which is a fantastic instrumental and sampling arrangement as only Cut Chemist can do.The Bonus CD alone is worth buying this deluxe release. "Ducky Boy" is a great song, as are "The Rhythm" and "Unified Rebelution". Also on the Bonus CD is a remix of "Jayou". I'm usually not a big fan of remixes, but this one is better than the original. The remix does a lot with the pacing of Chali 2na's verse and makes the whole song sound better. There's a lot of radio promos tacked onto the Bonus CD that I personally find annoying, but they are interesting to listen to.In three years of owning this set, I've never watched the DVD. No help there.Overall, if you like this genre of rap, you'll love this album. If you like underground hip-hop at all, you love this album. If you like Jurassic 5, you must have this album, hands down.

Just buy it
Great album. You won't regret it.I bought Quality Control a few months before I bought J5 because I knew I'd always reach for this album forever. But this is the album that made me fall in love with J5.

J-5 Deluxe
A reissue of one of Jurassic-5's early albums. The J-5 LP, but with a "B-sides" CD and a DVD including a video as well as a short "documentary," really just a handheld camcorder following the band from venue to venue. The additional never-before-released tracks are pretty excellent overall. The reissued LP is still my favorite Jurassic-5 album. The DVD, honestly I could do without, I just wish it included more videos. The one included video is Concrete Schoolyard, which is the best song on the album...

「Jayou」は是非聞いて頂きたい１曲です！Remixバージョンもカッコいいです！比較が出来て楽しかったです。その他曲も、とにかくカッコいい！スクラッチが強調されている曲が多いですが、ラップのフロウも絶妙！さらに、DVD映像ではライブとPVが入っておりさらに楽しめました☆輸入版なので字幕は出ておりませんが、ライブ映像は字幕が無くても楽しめます！DJCut ChemistとDJNu-MarkのPlayシーンも多く、スクラッチが分割で映ったり、面白い演出がありました！スキルの高さが伝わる映像でした。

ＣＤはなんか持ってたなってのばかり、、でもＤＶＤにはいってるライブ1970年？もしくは2050年？やっぱりジュラのライブ凄い。

Great album, great seller!
I have had a resurgence within myself to listen to hip hop after 'growing out of it' some years back. Jurrasic 5 do not disappoint and it's a great album.I'm old school and like to have a physical copy of my music. Zoverstocks, the seller, are now my preferred supplier because they are quick to deliver with great service and quality CD's

Very poor quality.
The apparently new product which I purchased arrived looking second hand like it had been stuffed in someone's glove compartment for the last 10 years! It arrived in a sealed plastic cover as if it was new, but the cardboard CD box was very worn and torn all over and the plastic inserts that hold the CDs we're snapped in places. The actual CDs we're in full working order bit I was not happy with the quality of the product at all!
