Really cool stuff!
I got this for my 5 year old granddaughter. We play with Play-dough ALOT. I wanted to try something different that wouldn't dry out. This had good reviews. It seemed a bit pricey but when you consider the amount you're getting, its actually not that expensive at all. Especially since it could potentially last indefinitely. First thing I noticed was the texture. Its kind of like a silky smooth , super fine sand. Has no smell at all. Very easy to clean up. Once you pick it up, you can't put it down.

Cool stuff and better than playdough
If you’re a mom who is sick of throwing away crusty bits of playdough you find on the floor under your table, then this is a step up for you. And it never dries out. You can pick clumps up days later and throw it right back into the bag. This Christmas I gave my 5 year old: Play dough, Kinetic Sand, and this Mad Matter. (Because I’m crazy. And also he loves it.) I put the Mad matter right into a Tupperware box with a lid and some little tiny trucks to make tracks. I put the kinetic sand in another tub with a lid and a Tonka bulldozer and dump truck. The playdough had a fun octopus playset to pump the playdough out of holes. A few days after Christmas and I’ve already thrown clumps of forgotten playdough away but the Mad Matter and kinetic sand are still perfect and being played with in their tubs. So they may be pricey compared to playdough, but Mad matter lasts. And it’s really cool stuff!

Play doh & Kinetic Sand HYBRID
Great product, hours of play (minimum 30 minutes daily) for my 2.5 and almost 5 year old that are now home due to the school closures. It’s a lovely true purple, easily moldable and with a tug will stretch off and fall apart. It leaves no residue on hand. No color stains on hands , clothes and a white table, so maybe stick with purple. I gave my kids a cake pan each, some plastic molds, and trinket toys to add to the play. Any loose, smaller pieces on a surface (table, ground) can easily be picked up by pressing down with a bigger piece. For any pieces pushed into something deep (we have a plastic roller), I’ve used a narrow stick (chopstick, Kebob stick) to break at it, and the material comes right out. I came online to order another pack in a different color. Highly recommend

9/10 Product, Will Stain Your Hands Though!
In my opinion, a great play-toy to use when stressed or needing to fidget. My only complaint is that it will stain your hands, and by extension, everything you touch, after prolonged use. I mean, it encourages hand washing after use so that's a bonus, but if there was one that came in a base color without the need for added dyes, I would buy that and use it in place of the orange I have in a heartbeat! Hope this helps someone!

Velvety Smooth
This stuff is pure magic! It’s the most addictive, super-soft, and satisfyingly squishy dough-like compound you’ll ever get your hands on. Seriously, once you start playing with it, good luck putting it down!

Great option for kids with food allergies
The manufacturers (WABA/Relevant Play) said there's no food ingredients (just ceramic beads and synthetic polymer). It is also not made in a facility that handles any food. It's great to have a sensory material that doesn't involve food. Great option for kids with food allergies. Our LO has multiple food allergies so it can be tough to find a play dough without any food ingredients that can work for school and home.We love playing with it. It has become our go-to play dough replacing our home made dough, and Lakeshore's gluten free dough. It is easy to mold and fun to play with. It is very easy to clean, you can use the dough to pick up any stray pieces. We've had no issues with staining (either from dyes or oils) which can be a problem for other doughs. It also is very workable and pliable. FYI it's also unscented which is nice because some doughs can have a weird-playdoughy smell. They've really hit it out of the park with this one.

So much fun and gluten free!
This is so much fun! And gluten free!My kids and I love playing with play doh, but hate the mess, and that it dries out. Mad Mattr fixes those problems in my house. It never dries out and has an appealing squishy, stretchy, sandy texture. It is easy to mold into precise shapes and is fun to smash, squish, roll, etc. Clean up is a breeze. It doesn’t smash into things so we were just able to sweep or vacuum it up.My kids love it. I love it. And it’s safe to play with our gluten free friends!

A great concept but may be better suited for 6 years+.
Originally found this in a toy store and bought a couple of bags. Kind of in-between play doh and kinetic sand when it was demonstrated. With the grandkids (3 & 5) coming for a long visit, I stocked up on most colors and some tools from Amazon. All in for well over $130.Found that several bags of varying colors from both sources were "drier" and difficult to work with, especially young hands and interest unfortunately waned rather quickly. The dough does not extrude easily with the tools but I guess that may be part of what makes it suited for making bricks. Made the best of it and had fun and sent it all home with them but it's nit getting much play time.
