Modern API Design with ASP.NET Core 2: Building Cross-Platform Back-End Systems Paperback – 1 January 2018

Tonnes of useful, practical ideas. Not just the basics, but some ideas of how to use them with good examples. I thoroughly recommend this book for anyone working on APIs in .NET. I should clarify, this book doesn't cover things like what your endpoints should actually be, how to break down your application into this endpoint, or this one. Rather it's a tour through aspects of making an API, with subjects such as logging, security, configuration, data formats, etc. Having read this a little while back I keep finding myself pulling it out because it had a nice example of an approach to something.

Simplemente horrible, la lectura, la disposición del texto, el contenido y la explicación estan feas. El autor aborde las cosas de golpe, al principio no se entiende nada y da la apariencia que no se sabe para que lo hace, lo explica muy rápido. No parecen temas importantes y no vi por ninguna parte contenido descente de diseño de API. La verdad no recomiendo comprar libros de este editor, recomiendo mucho mas los de la Editorial Manning

This book is very clearly written so that even developers that are new to the Web API can understand it.For developers that already have experience with Web API v1 and Web API v2 in .NET 4.5.x this book will very quickly show you how to update the core Web API functionality very quickly.I read this book in a single sitting, and I highly recommend it.

This book is terrible, very, very high level, not useful at all for learning ASP.NET core API

Ottimo libro per avvicinarsi al mondo delle Web API in ASP.NET Core 2.0. L'inglese è di facile comprensione. Consigliato a tutti i neofiti del settore.
