The Rosary with Bishop Barron

A great book on how to pray the rosary. Bishop Barron has given us a long review of each of the 20 mysteries and for those of us in a hurry he has provided a short review. I have used this book daily for the last 6 months praying the 5 decade rosary every am. I strongly recommend it.

Excellent Rosary booklet. My favorite! All of the prayers are worded just right, the same way I learned them years ago when I came into the Church. Good reflections and artwork for each mystery. Excellent little book especially for anyone who is new to the Rosary.

Exactly what I was looking for to learn to pray the rosary. Step by step guide that doesn’t assume I already know some of the prayers like many other guides do.

This is an excellent guide to praying the rosary. I am already a fan of Bishop Barron so I thought I’d get this book to help pray the rosary andI’m glad that I did. You don’t have to be familiar with Bishop Barron to enjoy this, it’s useful to anyone wanting to pray the rosary. This book is a great size to keep with my rosary as I travel, it doesn’t take up a lot of space and is small enough to fit into smaller pockets in my various bags. I like having a smaller book or pamphlet to carry alongside my rosary. I have Pope Francis’ little booklet that I keep in my travel bags. Both are excellent options for travel and both offer great meditations on the mysteries. This booklet gives you all of the prayers needed to pray the rosary as well as the mysteries you pray for each day. Bishop Barron offers a meditation for each of the mysteries that you can ponder as you go through each decade of the rosary. What I appreciate is that he gives a longer meditation that is a few paragraphs long and then a short summary of the meditation to save time or if you pray the rosary in groups. What I appreciated the most is that he lists all of the prayers for the beginning of the rosary and lists the mysteries so you can turn to them. Instead of just listing the mysteries themselves he also lists the prayers so if you don’t have all of them memorized you don’t have to turn back to the beginning of the book to find them. at the end of the decade it also gives you the prayers to end the rosary so you don’t have to refer to the beginning again. Essentially, you can do each mystery without needing to refer to all of the prayers you’d need at the beginning of the book. The meditations that Bishop Barron offers are excellent. I found myself appreciating the mysteries they reflect much more. The meditations offered have impacted my faith and made me think about the situations in the mysteries in a different light. This is why I wanted a guide with meditations from admirable members of the church. I had a small pamphlet, a card, Pope Francis’ book, and this one for praying the rosary and this one is my favorite. I am going to buy multiple copies to gift as well as for keeping at home and others just for traveling. This is well worth buying if you pray the rosary and want a good guide with insightful meditations.

This is so easy to follow and the art is absolutely beautiful..I highly recommend this one for people wanting to recite rosary everyday. Thank you for publishing.

Great book in terms of the contents but very poor binding. The pages are already coming apart so I have to spend more money to have it binded again.
