I used about 1000 of these to pack my house hold goods for an international PCS move. Not everything needed to be vacuum sealed but I wanted my clothes and linens to be protected. I used these and put in a silica pouch in each one. They are a great size and can be stuffed and still close! This is a great size for a large amount of clothes! And way more affordable than the 2 gallons you can get at the store.

I measured these bags with my digital micrometer. Got exactly 2 mils. My thickest freezer bags are 2.25 to 2.5 mils. Regular sandwich/snack bags are 1 mil. They're really very big! I didn't measure if it's exactly 5 gallons as advertised, but fits at least 2 babies.

Now that I have ordered these wonderful bags five times, they are a staple item for my home. I first ordered these large 24 x 24” bags for storing Christmas decorations and ornaments. Then I used them to store my bedding items for the different seasons. They are wonderful to store everything. You can see what is in the bags saving you time from looking through each bag and they are very strong and excellent quality! Now almost every time I start my Spring cleaning I will have my nifty storage bags ready to store my Winter items. I also am very happy they will stand on there own while packing or unpacking. I think by now you know how versatile these storage bags are. I highly recommend them!

This was a re-order, because the product I originally ordered was very good. HOWEVER, how a product is packaged can negatively effect the actual product. This was my experience with this (2nd), order. I was disappointed my second order isn’t what the seller pictured. Instead, the 100 count box I ordered came in a smaller box (than my first order, which came to me in the retail carton pictured by the seller), and with a count of 99 printed on the box (Not the 100 as advertised). The redesigned box is TOO SMALL for the contents, causing the box to burst during shipping. Personally, I have worked in package design for about 30 years. Whoever did the redesign on current carton made a mistake in their not allowing for expansion and content shifting during shipping. The cubic space gained in shipping logistics (what you can fit in a shipping container), has resulted in (this) customer’s dissatisfaction due to ‘product received not as specified (item count), or in (much) less than perfect condition (see supplied picture). I paid for an intact product, which is not what I received. It takes me quite a while to go through @100 bags at home, and having a damaged box to store it in? Too much nuisance. If you don’t care about that, then the bags are certainly adequate strength and very large.

Used these to pre-pack clothes for a permanent change of station move. I was able to pack each drawer of the dressers in one to two bags. This allowed our clothes to remain folded and organized rather than having to re-fold and reorganize when the movers deliver our house hold goods! What a huge relief! I am so pleased with this purchase and prevention of an unpacking disaster! If anyone else knows the headache of a move every two to three years then these are also for you!
