How long does it keep a charge when not in use? (I.e. in a drawer.)

If you want a flashlight you can store and depend on you don’t want rechargeable …the batteries don’t hold a charge well over a long time ..you want one that uses regular alkaline batteries they hold a charge much better over time

Can you remove the battery

It uses a pair of 22650 batteries inline. You should nave no difficulty finding replacements.

What type of led chip does this light use. i have one uts very bright. they dont advertise the bulb type

It has the COB technology light. It does actually tell you in advertising pics in the pic where the lens breakdown diagram is. COB is very bright, I have several lights with the COB technology and I love them! One is the the original Nebo Twyst flash light which Nebo discontinued for some reason which is 3400 lumens I believe but it is not rechargeable is only down fall.
