My new favorite responsive throw!
I bought this thinking I would put the included unresponsive bearing in as that's usually how I like to play ,due to the longer spin time and flashy binds. I threw this out of the box for S+G and it sleeps FOREVER, like 65 seconds on a responsive bearing! It makes DNA super easy with the bowl shape and I can finish string combos without it going dead halfway through like most of my other responsive yoyos. This is a steal at 10 bucks and I'm getting ready to buy 2 more for my son's. Great starter pack with extra response pads and an unresponsive bearing for when your ready to yoyo like a cool kid. Highly recommend!

I love my Yoyo King yoyos! The Proto9 is awesome!
I am in love with all of my Yoyo King yoyos. I have them all except for the Merlin. The Proto9 is a great throw. I play it unresponsive. Looks great. Feels great. I love putting it through combos. I’ll be using this as my everyday-carry yoyo for a few weeks! That it comes with the concave bearing and an extra set of response pads is fantastic!

Best unresponsive yo-yo for the price!
Hands down the best unresponsive yo-yo you can buy for the price. It performs as well as yo-yo's twice it's price. If you want to get into unresponsive play there's really no reason not to buy this. If you're already an advanced player this one is great for your collection. The only downside is it's not the prettiest looking yo-yo. But if that doesn't bother you then this is the one for you!

Not a good throw
I bought this yoyo because it was small so it can be my everywhere yoyo. The first one came scratched and the box was ripped open so all the accessories were missing. I still wanted to try it. As a responsive yoyo it plays well, not the best though. As a non-responsive yoyo is awful, it shakes so much you cannot do anything with it. They offered to send me a replacement. The second one was also missing the accessories but I still wanted to try it. It was the same problem when you make it unresponsive. Very disappointed of this yoyo because it looks nice and have potential but unless I had bad luck twice I don't think you should get it.
