FABULOUS taste,,,like blueberries with an adult "tang." I adore this taste. It is great on waffles if one is too lazy to make a pie..But I bought frozen pie crusts and am going to make it as a pie too. It IS very expensive, but since it is impossible to find anywhere else, and it tastes like Heaven, I say, go for it! It is unique, delicious and simply wonderful. If you are tired of blueberry pie, THIS flavor and the large berries which burst in the mouth will be a surprisingly lovely way to explore a uniquely hard to find Flavor and texture...and will become a new favorite...Since it IS expsenive, what with extra shipping even for prime members, I'd order the larger size and keep it in the fridge when not using to fill pies. As a spread on hot waffles, the cold filling is also fabulous.

My dad, for years, has been saying how much he loves huckleberry pie but can't find it anywhere so I thought I'd order one online. Well after seeing the poor reviews for overnighted pies I came here and found Huckleberry Haven's Wild Huckleberry Pie Filling and thought I'd just make one myself. BEST FATHER'S DAY PRESENT EVER! It got here fast and the filling was super delish! Seriously, it was the easiest pie I've ever made and my pops loved it! Thanks Huckleberry Haven, I'll for sure be ordering more :) Side note: One of the reviewers below stated their recipient couldn't detect any berries in the filling, well the one I got was chock full of them and everyone eating it could easily detect them!

YUMMY! My husband is from the Pacific Northwest so huckleberrys are some of his favorite treats, I made him this pie as a surprise and he loved it! Said that it brought back to his childhood. Will be buying again.

The taste was lovely, but my guests and I did find stems that we had to pull out of our teeth at times. Kind of took away from enjoying the pie.

According to my mom, for whom it was bought as a gift, she and her boyfriend couldn't detect any actual berries in this pie filling, though the taste was fine. They DID like the huckleberry candies, though.
