Works for Toyota H4 plug on 1st gen Sequoia
So if you are doing a projector retrofit on your older model with an H4 plug you are going to need this if your power doesn't stay at 12v on the low beam when your highs are triggered. Easiest way to tell is you will engage the highs and the projector shield will engage but your light will turn off. I'd still suggest using a multimeter on DC Volts 20 and checking for voltage through the low beam and high beam engagement at the plug. Now with that said you can make this harness yourself but at this price, save me the hassle, although if I were to replicate it I'd use a thicker 12v wire and ground. So far I'm happy with what it does, it lets the power to the low beam stay constant when you trigger the high beam which is what I needed to get it fully functional. I looked the the morimoto H4 harness and might have nicer looking covers and stuff but doubt it performs better than this at 3x the price, save your money and buy this. Oh don't think this is waterproof so mount it with the relay post and cables going down.

decent product but you get what you pay for
product worked as advertised but was too short so i needed to extend multiple leads which was fine and is what it is but overall its just a cheap product so dont expect too much

Miata NB1 to NB2 Headlight Conversion
I did a headlight conversion from a Mazda Miata NB1 to NB2 and used this wiring harness. The NB1 Miata has a ground switching circuit, so the diode in the harness needs to be removed. Once that's done, the low beams stay on when I turn on the high beams. The indicator on the dash also works.I wouldn't say this is super amazing quality, but it gets the job done and has been working so far, so I recommend the product!

DIDN'T WORK FOR ME

Needed to snip diode to make it work.
Easy install. Exactly what I needed to upgrade my Express Van from solid beam to 9005/9006 high/low beam. Problem was both high and low were on the whole time. Opened harness and discovered a diode bridging power between high and low relays. Snipped the diode and now lights function properly.

Does the job with a tweak.
Converting my NB1 Mazda Miata to NB2 head lights. Wire lengths were perfect for this application. Had high and low beams always on until I cut diode out of the harness where it plugs into the stock head light plug. I think this is because the miata had a common voltage and switched ground, but I'm not sure. Lows stay on with high beam, but high beams cut off when switched to low. I don't seem to have a high beam indicator on my dash. I'll keep tweaking it to see if I can get that to work.

Works great
Does what it's supposed to do, fits right out of the box.Added bonus:Leaves low-beam on when switching to high beam...(Did not know this when purchasing so it made testing what plug was what (low/high) a bit interesting to say the least)...Note:It's fitted with four (4) 9006 plugs. So if you want to use the "official" high-beam-bulb (9005) you have to change out 2 plugs.None of the 4 plugs are marked to show what they are supposed to be (low/high).9006 = Low beam (usually 55 W)9005 = High beam (usually 65 W)
