Awesome pump. Mine is set at 200 feet deep and feeds 6 houses. Pressure set at 100psi and pressure in the house is awesome.

This motor shorted out to ground on all 3 wires. My well is 500 ft deep and this pump would not handle it.

This pump worked very well in unusual conditions for a well located in Haiti. The pumping conditions were muddy for almost a week until the water cleared. The pump handled all the silt and did an excellent job. Shipping and handling by the pump copmpany were terrible and not up to Amazons standards. Ordered on early Saturday morning but was not shipped intil Monday night. The rest of our order was shipped on Saturday. The pump was send parcel post US mail and was not expidited. We lost our window with DHL shipping to Haiti so the pump ended up late getting to Port a Prince a day after we arrived. The company however charged expidited shipping which cost almost $75.00 more. Pump does work great and is an excellent product!

I took a chance on this pump after researching my need to get water pumped up to a tank 1200 feet away from the well head with almost 200 feet of elevation gain. My well depth was another 120 feet and I have to use a portable generator until I can run power. My total head resistance was close to 400 feet. It's hard to find a single phase 230 volt pump that would do the job and not cost the farm. I'm happy to say that this pump works great, filling my 2500 gallon tank on the top of the hill in under three hours. Obviously, I don't know about longevity yet, but the pump appears well made and so far works like a charm. I use an 8kw generator and it runs a little over half load to supply power for this pump.
