Screen-free, Good HR sensor
Easy enough to use but not very intuitive to sync with the polar apps. Good sync with Apple Health. A bit of a learning curve to set up. Insights are useful but not great. Fat burn data is quite useful. I was using an Apple Watch earlier to track my workouts. I bought this as a replacement for the watch for distraction-free training sessions. The readings are extremely close when parallel tested and comes at a fraction of the cost of an Apple Watch. So quite happy with it. Very quick to charge. Charge lasts quite long. A breeze to clean after a workout.

Good heart rate monitor, more comfortable to wear than chest version
Good heart rate monitor which you can use either on your forearm or on your bicep. Gives about the same reading as my Garmin HRM Pro Plus. The way you wear it is both a pro and a con. The thing working for this is that unlike the chest strap monitor, it isn't too uncomfortable to wear for longer duration. The negative point is, if you want to wear it on your bicep, it's not convenient to pull up the band up to your bicep due to the metal (or is it hard plastic) holder for the heart rate pod. This heart rate monitor comes with a velcro fastener which you need to pass through a ring/loop, which makes it difficult to do with one hand. Connects to multiple devices through ANT+ and 2 devices through Bluetooth.

Great buy for HR Monitoring
Works perfectly for heart rate measurement. Validated against finger pulse oximeter for accuracy. Light enough to feel as if you are not wearing it at all. Long battery life is a big plus.

Great Heart rate monitor for workout.
If you need an excellent heart rate monitor to monitor your workout, then this is it. It is the best in class for sleep tracking paired with Sleep2 app..

Best alternative for zero distraction tracking
It's less intrusive. Does the job to perfection. App is amazing and the tracking is spot on. No brainer purchase.

The app UI is not that great but works well and good for monitoring

Be warned, fatal software issues.
A great product, in principle. But from the moment it updated to the latest software, everything went kaput. The device would no longer synch with the app. That means that swimming mode and recording mode are defunct. I tried everything to get this to connect again. Removed it from the phone's bluetooth list, reinstalled the app, cleared data and cache, restarted the phone. Nothing helped. Finally, I've returned it for a replacement today. I am only worried that the next piece would have the exact same problem because the internet is full reports of this exact problem, and Polar doesn't seem to have a fix for quite long now. I would have preferred to just return and get a refund, but Amazon only has a replacement policy.

Lousy app
The device is fine but the app seems at least 10 years old. Very limited functions in the app

Un vero MUST HAVE ma bisogna informarsi bene sull’autonomia
Inoltre, calcola distanza e andatura in piscina automaticamente.

Comfortable to wear and accurate
The arm strap is much more comfortable than the chest strap. Polar is leading in HR measurement. My wrist measurement is about 30bpm off.
