I got this for my father, who's in a wheelchair, and my mother, who's on a Rollator. Both of them have trouble getting up out of their seats in my vehicle (or any, for that matter) and this helps a great deal. Between their efforts and mine, they can get up on their feet in a lot less time with a lot less pain, and a lot less effort. What used to wind them and make them ache now feels like a breeze because I'm doing part of the lifting for them.It's sturdy and well-made. It seems to be machine washable, even. Comes with a little carry bag to protect it. (Also to wrangle it. It's quite long when unfurled and can reach door to door in my vehicle. (And it's an SUV!)I have to say this is a very impressive piece of equipment and if you're in the business of caregiving, have elderly parents in need, etc... This is a good addition to your arsenal of tools. Fits in a glovebox, it's washable, it's sturdy, and it's affordable. I definitely recommend picking it up.

For those moments you might need a little extra push getting up this works great. It is has a large padded area and buckles solidly. Then you can grab hold of various straps and pull. It works well enough for an assist and it's not flimsy like some other similar types are.Nice to have handy in case it's needed.
