Greatest Hits

I am writing a review while listening to the CD. The songs and music are VERY GOOD and VERY RELAXING to listen to. Also - GOOD to dance to if you feel like dancing. A lot of the songs I was not familiar with - because of listening to Earth Wind & Fire on the radio - now since I have the CD, I am ENJOYING more of their songs and music. The CD is worth the purchase.

Look I was born in the great year of 1961, & Earth Wind & Fire ruled (AM/FM) waves with their sound, & style while growing up until I left home, & also to this day. I wanted this for the collection of physical media to quench my obsession of retro audio/video equipment & stereo music that take me for a ride on the "WAY BACK MACHINE"... Additionally, to remind myself of who I was with & where I was that first time I heard it. This band's music supplies this need with perfect results with their timeless songs. Thanks!!!

first time in a long time cd case not broken,great songs,to little bass in remix.and need to raise volume 3x more then other cd's,that sucks on a 6 cd player.

Awesome! The music picks you up if you are having an off day. Great songs from a great band. I am thoroughly enjoying this. Playing it over and over again. LOL

Earth, Wind, & Fire is CLASSIC OLD SCHOOL!! Can't beat it!!!

'Shining Star' is a great song with great percussion and great vocals by the band; 'That's The Way Of The World' is a lovely yet sad song and it always makes my cry every time I listen to the song; 'September' is a classic song that never gets old and it's the perfect party jam to dance to in the club, weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and of course cookouts/family reunions! Great vocals and horns! My favorite song from my childhood! 'Can't Hide Love' is a lovely song with great vocals and a great melody; 'Got To Get You In My Life' is a cover song of The Beatles and EWF's version is funky yet jazzy! The guitar and vocals are superb and I love EWF's version of the song better than The Beatles' version! 'Sing A Song' is a great song with great beats and great vocals; I used to sing the song wrong and I thought the band said 'It'll make you dance!' It's 'It'll make your day!' 'Gratitude' is a good song with good beats and good vocals; 'Serpentine Fire' is an 'okay' song which didn't make any sense to me but over the years I grew to like the song! 'Fantasy' is a beautiful song with great lyrics and great vocals by the band (dance group Black Box covered the song years later, singer Martha Wash sang the song beautifully and I love both versions of the song)! 'Kalimba Story' is a beautiful song with great beats and great vocals by the band; 'Mighty Mighty' is a good song with good vocals; 'Reasons' is a beautiful love song with great beats and great vocals and I love the 'Live' version of the song; 'Saturday Nite' is a good song with good beats and good vocals; 'Let's Groove' is a fantastic song with great beats and great vocals; the song take me back to my childhood; 'Boogie Wonderland' (with The Emotions) is a great Disco song with great beats and great vocals by Earth Wind and Fire and The Emotions; great song to sing along and dance to! 'After The Love Has Gone' is a beautiful yet sad song with great beats and great vocals (I love the piano by composer/songwriter David Foster as well as the saxophone); 'Getaway' is a great song with great beats and great vocals by the band; I love the horns and drums! EWF will always be my favorite R&B band! Their music never gets old or boring! REST IN POWER to the following singers/songwriters/musicians: Mr. Maurice White (December 19, 1941-February 4, 2016); Mr. Charles Stepney (March 26, 1931-May 17, 1976); Mr. Fred E. White (ne Frederick Eugene Adams) (January 13, 1955-January 1, 2023); Mr. Andrew Paul Woolfolk II (October 11, 1950-April 24, 2022); Miss Jessica Marguerite Cleaves (December 10, 1948-May 2, 2014); Miss Alta Sherral 'Allee' Willis (November 10, 1947-December 24, 2019): 'You all may be gone but you will never, ever be, forgotten.'
