I did know what I was getting when I ordered these so I'm not surprised it's just, for what it is and how it's made it should cost a lot less than $8.95. I chose this product bc it had the spiderman print we wanted and the ear loops. I couldn't find anything else that met those qualifications for my kids. Just a thin piece of fabric screen printed with an iffy reaolution. I sewed a cotton mask to the inside of these which was my plan all along knowing how thin nylon spandex gaiters are. This way the masks stay on super well and are comfortable. My kids have trouble keeping the standard masks on and they'll ride up or down but these fun gaiters do the trick AND make them look like spiderman which they love.

I use this sometimes as an additional layer over my kid's mask if we're in highly populated areas like a movie theater or a mall. He loves the way it looks. I love that it adds an extra layer of protection and that he doesn't fight it as much as others.

I get these type of masks for my son to wear to school. He likes the fit and people comment on the face all the time.
