Good for families that are in the car a lot.
Super Handy! I got it to go between my 2018 Traverse bucket seats. It happens to match my interior perfectly. We added clear little bumper dots to make the sound of the doors closing not so loud (baby sleeps in car). There's nothing to stop the sound of the drink holder bars when you “spring them open” but that's totally ok – It holds cans, sippy cups and travel cups just fine, I might add the clear little bumpers on the drink bar just for rattling reasons but not needed. The main cubby is LARGE – we fit a full pack of wipes, diapers, change of clothes, PJs, a few toys, extra waters and snacks for toddler, there is still room in there. The second is also pretty great size – multiple sunglasses, DVD headphones/ remote, and my teens snacks and extra items, there is still room in there too.Mine didn’t come with the removable soft sided CD / DVD holder (I needed that so bummed). It also didn’t come with any of the interior storage options that others noted. Kind of bummed about that, those would have really helped to have but expected since they were not in the description. We travel a lot with sports so this is a must!5 stars even though we're missing the CD/DVD holder.

Attractive and Functional Mini-Van Storae Console!
OK, I really love this console! I had been struggling with various containers through the years to corral the odds and ends of things that we carry with us (especially since we travel a lot), but nothing worked very well. They always were inconvenient and looked messy. I finally decided to take a chance and buy something that was more-or-less designed for the purpose, and this was the one I decided upon. This console is large -- much larger than I had anticipated even though I had read the measurements before purchase. It seems to be very sturdily built and doesn't feel the slightest bit flimsy. The vinyl covering might be somewhat fragile, but I like it because it perfectly matches our gray leather seats. And it feels soft and luxurious to the touch. The compartments in the console are deep enough to hold everything we need. In fact we like to keep paper towels in our mini-van and the largest compartment is deep enough to hold the roll of towels upright. And although we really didn't need the cup holders because of the built-in cup holders in our van, I find them to be more convenient than I would have thought. There is some wasted space below the cup holders that I wish they would have considered in the design, but that's really just a very minor point. (I'm always trying to re-engineer things!)Having said all of the above, I did run into one problem in our specific situation. We have a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country mini-van. I am somewhat short (5'1") so my seat has to be positioned very far forward in the van. In doing so, the seat armrest interfered with opening the console lid of the largest compartment. (The console fits very closely between the seats with no room to spare.) I solved this problem by turning the console completely around and using it in the opposite direction with the large compartment forward rather than in back. It works just fine that way. Anyone taller who would position the seat farther back should have no problem at all. But I just thought I'd mention it for other "short folks" out there.Bottom line -- I am extremely pleased with this console. My only regret is that I didn't purchase one sooner!

Got an Odyssey? Get this console - it'll make your life better
I've got a 2004 Honda Odyssey - it needed something besides the worthless cupholders and tray that came stock in the van.I look around for a while and got this console because it appeared to be the best construction and utility. The console is made well, I've got no complaints - it's much better than the molded plastic options that are out there. The cup holders have yet to spill a drink - I've had this installed for a couple of months now.I could have squeezed this console in next to the stock tray when it's folded down against the passenger seat - I just thought it look half baked. I got a ratchet and took the stock tray out along with pens and wrappers and 10 year old french fries that had found their home in the bracket of the tray. The Odyssey has a rise running across the floor which caused this console to rock front to back over it. This would be the case regardless of the console I chose. I had some 1" wood left over from various other projects - so I laid them under the front and back of the console. It took up the height variance, so I used a sharpie to trace the contour of the console onto the two pieces of 1" board and then I cut them out. I even painted them - why go halfway at this point? The bottom of the console is plywood that is covered in a felt fabric, but it was no issue to run some screws through the 1" risers into the bottom of the console - they don't protrude to the interior. Now that the console is squarely seated it rides there just fine. It centers between the seats and the lids open and clear like a factory fit between the seats two armrests. The arms that hold the cups in place have 3 clicks for adjustment - from wide open to something the diameter of your manhood (your mileage may vary). So regardless of anyones boasting - the smallest size doesn't fit much in the way of a beverage container. This would be my docking of a star - the cup holders need much finer graduations of their "clicks" or adjustments. Sometimes I have the holder adjusted and the drink won't fit - I'll open up the adjuster, put my drink in, and then close the adjuster. It works fine, just a minor annoyance on what otherwise was a well made console.I wish the interior compartments had dedicated places for sunglass or even a charging port - or maybe a light? But these aren't part of what was advertised so I can't dock it for not being there. The interior compartments are quite cavernous - I have an entire roll of paper towels standing upright in one currently (I've got kids).I'm please with the console overall, it matches our interior well and its a big improvement over the stock setup.

Not just for jeeps
This was retro fitted to a former police ford explorer sport utility. It fits great and is tall enough to rest your arm comfortably on since the interceptor models do not generally have armrests installed on the seats. Wish it was black but dark charcoal grey works just fine for what it is needed for. Sturdy and spacious but not too huge it eats up alot of space. Nice feature is the front/back adjustable cup holders and split compartments to keep car stuff organized and accessible. Cost effective upgrade option. I would recommend rampage products.
