I don't know why I didn't order this sooner. I have the metal stake type which was difficult to drive into the ground. ("I accidentally left the old one at another campground.").

This Camco 21018 Universal Fit Plastic Water Filter Stand does just what it says it will do - it supports our 10" x 4" (outside diameter) whole house water filter housing (for 2 1/2" filters) in the upright position. With this stand, neither the filter housing, nor the hose connections into and out of it, lay on the ground. Also, since the filters are designed to be operated in a vertical position, this stand keeps the filter in the proper orientation.

Does the job. I have one I use to hold my wine filter and another for camper.

I use two of these with the filter system to bring my water input down to .05 microns. They are easy to set-up, you can stake them to the ground for extra stability and easy to clean. My first one has now lasted 5 years!

Sturdy little stand. Perfectly holds Culligan RVF-10 filter unit. Well balanced with the filter unit in place.

This stand is just what I needed to keep our external RV water filter from flopping over. The price was a bit higher than what I expected but it's pretty much use specific.
