Pros: warm, reflective, strong velcro that stays put, easy to put on, hole for leash, waterproof, good fitting, slows dogs down a bit(hyperactive dogs- think about how much a heavy jacket and snow pants slow you down).Cons: velcro requires you pay attention when you put it on. (See picture, that was my fault, snap buttons would help prevent this) Slows dogs down(older, will definitely affect endurance). Probably not good for temperatures above 50, too warm. Its a heavy winter jacket.Its a great looking jacket for my Boston Terriers.I got the 14 and 14 +(she eats too much). Doesn't look or feel cheap. Kept my dogs warm on our 45-1hr walk in 30 degree weather. If you have dogs that are driving you crazy because you won't take them on walk, I can't recommend this jacket enough.

My dog is an American Staffordshire Terrier which is basically the smaller ancestor to the modern pit bull. It took a couple tries to get the right fit so I just wanted to write this to help others. She weighs 58lbs, her neck is 17,” height of her back is 18” off the ground at the shoulder blades, and the length of her back is 19.” Her chest is 31” around under her armpits. We bought a size 24 for her and it fits pretty well! It’s a little snug around her chest and a little loose at the belly but that’s just how she’s shaped. We originally bought the size 20 based on other reviews but it was way too small. She doesn’t shiver at all out in the snow anymore and now she looks like she belongs in the safety patrol at a ski resort! 🤣

Loves this coat! Fits my french bulldog perfectly and he got so many compliments already! Keeps him nice and warm during these cold days of winter.

i got this item last winter but really did not have a chance to use it. i started using this item for this winter season and noticed immediately that the reflective gray areas had cracks in it. it seams to get worse every time its worn. this is an expressive coat for a dog. a thought i was purchasing a quality item but it turns out to be of poor quality. very disappointed in the product.

I bought this for our 40 pound American Pit terrier. We live in Colorado and her thin coat wasn’t enough for our cold days. It’s very well made and warm and so far has held up well for the two months she has had it. I’m sure there will be many years of use from it. For quality and warmth I would definitely give it 5 stars, however I took one off because of the Velcro fasteners on the belly side. It would be a lot easier getting her in and out of it with a top opening.
