Tyco Terra Climber Radio Control Vehicle

Bought these for my grandson's at Christmas. They battled each other the entire day. Amazing how easily they climb stairs and traverse over virtually any obstacle. Cool toy that appears very well made.

Packaging was easy to open. You'll need a phillips head screwdriver for the main battery compartment though. Battery held up to a pretty solid 1 1/2 hrs of play WITHOUT charging first. Battery life is incredibly surprising. The tires are soft and showed wear very quickly(along with the tail and some scuffs on the main body) It is large and cumbersome for indoor use. We didn't attach the tail on the 2nd unit (yes my 6 yr old ordered 2 on his unapproved midnight amazon spree but Daddy said they could keep them) and it helps for indoor use. But seems like it would affect capabilities with outdoor obstacles. The tailed unit climbed everything we threw at it including high centering on a large rock...that did take some time and creativity to regain traction and clear the rock though. 4 and 6 yr olds had no problems working the control and maneuvering the climber. All in all everyone had a blast with it. And it far exceeded my expectations.

This toy is actually really nice. The only complaint I ( and my grandson) have is that it does not climb stairs like it says it does. That was one of the main reasons why he wanted it. But other than that it is pretty cool. I just wouldn't have paid as much as I did if I would have known that in advance

Bulky, clumsy and not very much fun. My 8 yr old son was more impressed when it was in the box vs. playing with it. It looks great, but not much fun after that.

The toy work as indicated, it climbs stairs an can go through many other things. Also can go downstairs, but be careful if you try. It looks well constructed and durable. As for the kids, they love it, it's very easy to drive. My kid took it to the park and every other kid were gathering to see it work or try it out. Note to manufacturer: make the battery connector easier to unplug, better yet, make the charging process possible to do without having to take out the battery. Also make another color with different frequency for those who would like to get 2.

Dangerous because product was defective. It wouldn't go in reverse but when going straight, it wouldn't stop when you let off. It crawled up my husband and ripped out hair.

My 6 year old son loves this RC. It's easy for him to use and he has to fight off his other siblings from trying to play with it.

Christmas gift for a 13 year old boy was extremely successful. We put up with a lot of complaining upon arrival at the house when we asked him to help bring in presents..."it's freezing out here!". An hour later, before his mother demanded proper attire, he was willing to brave the cold rain to run outside in his stocking feet, without a coat, to see how well the Climber would survive backyard obstacles. I love it when I find something that is a big hit, and this was a great choice.

This seems to be a very sturdy and well made toy! It’s taking lots of abuse here as the kids attempt to make it climb and down the stairs. No worse for the wear! Very pleased with it and most importantly, so are the kids!

My grandson had hours of pure fun
