Levi's Men's 527 Slim Boot Cut Jeans

Contrary to other reviews, the jeans fit exactly as I needed them to. I'm about 5'10" / 5'11" and 165 lbs. I ordered a 33x32 and the waist was perfect. The length does feel a little long, but I like my jeans like that so it works for me. However, I wear suspenders rather then belts so if you wore a belt with these, the slightly long length wouldn't be an issue. I've only had them a short while so I can't comment on durability, but given the price of other jeans, even if they only last me a year, they'll be totally worth the price. Worth trying, especially since they have free returns.

Levi's 527s have a particular fit, so buyers know what they're getting when they pick this style. I've worn this cut of jeans for years and am glad to see they've remained consistent. Slim from the waist to the knee, then boot cut. Seat and thighs are snug. I ride so I buy long hems, which I'm glad to see are still an option. I purchased these for the cut and (hopefully) consistent sizing, and I wasn't let down. Thankfully the denim weight and finish were what I was looking for as well: reasonably heavy, and a dark rinse that wasn't chemically treated to look distressed. Thank you Levi's for keeping this formula.

Got these for my boyfriend for Christmas, he loves them. He is athletic and is a 32" waist but since these were 'slim' cut I got him a 33" to give him a little more room in the thighs. He says they are comfortable and he likes the look of them. I will order another pair in the Fume wash for him. They fit great over his boots but also look good with sneakers. Unless you have slim legs for your build you would be fine ordering your true waist size, but if you have muscular legs you should probably order an inch up unless you want a close fitting jean.

I had purchased these same pants about a year ago 40W 32L and i really love the 527 fit and my first pair were perfect. Alittle loose on the waist but I have larger thighs so i need it. Got the same pair or so I thought. Put em on, very loose but I was comforted when I checked the tags that they were the same so i thought maybe if I wash and dry them they would be perfect… and now I own MC Hammer pants. No idea why they fit like a 44W 36L and the others were perfect. Oh well guess i got burned thinking washing would shrink em

I like them, the denim looks good but feels a bit cheap. Good value for money I guess

Great jeans be careful of the color you order, the colors are deceiving.

By carefully reading the fabric content, verifying body measurements and precise description of each of the colors available, I am always able to avoid the complaints found in reviews by returning customers to Levi’s jeans: “THOSE MAJOR COMPLAINTS ARE MY JEANS STRETCH TOO MUCH, TOO LITTLE, THE FABRIC IS NOT AS TOUGH AS MY “OLD LEVI’S” WERE, THE FABRIC IS TOO THIN, EVERYTHING IS JUST CHEAP THESE DAYS AND I CAN’T GET MY STYLE ANYMORE....” Customers and Customer Service Representatives need to know the product they are selling and should be able to discuss it with the customer as if they made it or wear it themselves....They should be able to verify every measurement on that piece of Levi’s clothing (or any for that matter) as if they hang the garment in front of them and a tape measure at hand to make the associated measurements as the customer asked for them. Regarding fabrics, the customer reps should be familiar about fabric construction, enough to know that 100% cotton with one kind of weave technique for the denim is an entirely different than using a polyester cotton blend with spandex added for a close fit that will not stretch out of shape and slip down off your hips. Because most people are not familiar with fabric and fit anymore, customer representatives for the clothing industry must be the professionals with this knowledge and be the stylists and fitters for their customers. Many companies in the clothing industry could take lessons from the small J peters and company whose products concentrate on men’s and women’s clothing; when you called their staff for assistance on fit although the rep mean I have a piece of that clothing right in front of them they are able to call the warehouse and get exactly which measurements as well as any additional information you require. Very antiquated courses of home economics that the schools have done away with help now again become very relevant in our online communities. I knowledge of garment sewing and fabric Would greatly assist many customer representatives on the receiving end of those chat calls and telephone calls from customers as would the classes in cooking or wood shop or metal shop.

Schönes Material, man erkennt gleich die bessere Qualität. Sehr gut geschnitten. Macht Spaß damit. Wollte erst 33/34 nehmen, gab aber nur 32/34, sitzt wie mit 16, Scharfschützengang inkl.

Sizing difference, have a older pair of 527 jeans that fit perfectly, the new ones are a slightly looser fit. Jeans are good quality and are otherwise great.
