Indispensable tool for shrink tubing
I’m a model railroader building elaborate FreemoN modules. The wiring underneath can get quite complicated. Heat Shrink tube really helps to organize wire harnesses and ensure quality splices. This heat gun performs brilliantly, flawlessly, and consistently. Delivers great heat and does so in a smart ergonomic design. Perfectly placed power switch makes it easy for Left or Right-handed persons. The dual power setting is a nice option. The hands-free built in stand is genius. I love this tool; it’s become a vital tool for my wiring projects.

Glad I bought this and not the cheaper 200 watt versions out there.
I have a large heat gun, resembling a blow dryer, that I had been using for heat shrink among other things, but after buying one of these for my son who just needs a heat source for heat shrink, I bought another for myself. This is so much easier to use than a larger heat gun for heat shrink, and just as effective. It has a built in, fold down wire stand at the tip, so you can rest it on a table top and keep the hot tip off the surface when not in use. There are less expensive models out there that appear to be the same size as this, but all were rated several hundred watts lower, and reviews were not consistent in their ability to handle shrink wrap well. I decided to spend a little more to get this one, and I am glad I did. This heats up quickly and shrinks wrap quickly as well.

Portable and handy. Good for shrink wrap. Value for the money
I have already used it in wire cables surrounded by shrink wrap tubes. Works great.I am yet to invent other uses for this fine product. Value for the money

Good little heat gun if your needs are fairly basic.
Very basic heat gun, only uses 349 watts. It gets hot enough to melt shrink tubing but isn't so hot it damages cable wrap or fixtures. Small and easy to keep in the bag. Only has the one tip so no shaping the air, but the tip is small and round do easily put on a small spot. Only one temp setting, ON, so no temp range. That hasn't been an issue for me yet. Feels a bit cheaply made, but had been working fine for the month I've had it, with fairly heavy use. Good purchase, would recommend.

Great value for money!
Great quality heat gun that does not take too much space in your tool bag. Compact yet powerful for its size. I recommend that you buy the one with the nozzle kit.

A tiny powerhouse, perfect for heat shrink tubing
I’m mostly using this for heat shrink tubing over soldered wires, and it’s fantastic! Way better than fighting with my big heat gun and safer than a lighter. I love the built in stand. It’s more expensive than the competition but the safety certification and great build and design are worth every penny.

TWO Purchases & TWO FAILS!!!
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: I have now purchased 2 of these heat guns and BOTH of them stopped working after just a handful of uses! It heated up my embossing powder annd then started smoking and gave out! Everyone says this is the best gun, but I’m not a beginner crafter and know how to use and care for my tools—so why is this not working?! I am not covering the vents; it is plugged in; I do not use it nonstop; and I do not allow it to get dusty. I am so frustrated that I’ve spent my money on the same issue TWICE! I really like this gun when it works, but for the price it should work more than maybe ten times tops. Absolutely disappointed in this brand name tool and will go back to my cheap tool that still works after 5 years!Pros: Fits well in my hand. Heats quickly & evenly. Nice stand for hands-free option. Two temps.Cons: Quit working after a handful of uses. Will not turn on. Tried multiple plugs, restarts, different temps, etc. Too expensive to give out on me so quickly.Overall: Hoping this one is a lemon. I like it enough to try purchasing it again, but if this happens twice, I will know it isn’t a fluke and my review will drop to 0. :(

Great tool
I bought this to remove paint from some cabinets and it performed like a champ, considering it's small size. This is great for small jobs. For bigger projects I would recommend a bigger heat gun that can cover larger areas.
